Hi
I am on a business trip. And want to wear panties. But I forgot to measure at home. I wear a 36 inch Levi. (tighter fitting)
What size should I be looking at? I can't wait to try wearing some!

How tight do you plan on wearing and consider the stretch of the fabric ?
Are you planning on minimal bikini or more reserved brief or high cut brief ?
Are diapers or other incontinent aids being planned on wearing ?
Anything more and you are in granny oversized category but great for diaper covers.

USA
Size 5 with a lot of stretch - real tight fitting
Size 6 a little more forgiving
Size 7 is what Kayleigh thinks works - I have been here when I was a 36
The above probably not suitable for diapers
Size 8 you don't need a lot of stretch - but a starter for wear over diapers
Size 9 should be perfect for bulk diaper coverage

Read the size labels on the individually wrapped package.
If in doubt only purchase one - to try for sizing.

Got a Victoria's Secret store nearby - these folks are good at size/measurement -
If not trying on take a tape measure or other premeasured device to help.

Waist is one factor in the sizing -
Another hidden factor is the rise (distance from crotch bottom to top of waist)
important for proper containment of the forward facing equipment.

Experiment around you will get the gist (feel) of what seems/fits "Just my Size" !

I wear 36 or 38 pant size and am a pretty solid size 7 in panties, some I can wear a size 6 comfortably but some I require a size 8. My two favorites are Warner's no muffin top in size 7 and secret treasures briefs in size 8 both of which are readily available and inexpensive at Walmart.

So I went to a target and explored their "Arden" line of panties . They were not too badly made , lots of variety but just a little too small . I've become a believer in cacique panties
1) being I'm a 40-42 waist that puts me in a 14/16 or 18/20 size there .
2) my wife is a cacique wearer and I get to try on a lot too !!

But the quality is top notch , lots of materials and very well made .

Say is there another page or group for us panty wearers that I can browse around and info/advice ?

A simple search "MEN WEARING PANTIES" should give you some material to browse
And there is a Diaper Forum that frequently comments on panties worn over diapers
especially those with frilly ruffled lace detailing.
The information you seek is out there for you to boldly go in search of - - - - -

I am a fan of the Auden line of lingerie. I have quite a few bras, panties and babydolls along with a couple bodysuits as well. Sometimes the sizing can be a bit wonky, though. Most stuff I am a medium but every now and then I have to go back for a large.
You can always talk to us on this website. I have so many pieces of women’s lingerie. I would be happy to talk to you about what works for me and what doesn’t. Good luck. Have fun with the panties. Once you start wearing them and look at yourself in the mirror, you start thinking, “I should have a bra that matches this cute panty!” Then you start buying panties to match the bra you just bought. It just keeps going.

Size 7. Get full briefs since you have an undercarriage. I like ones with spandex because they fit like they were sprayed on.

go online to store or website that sells panties. they always have a size chart based on your waist and hip size. the ones that I wear have enough strech that it doesnt matter much . look at herroom they sell panties and have a chart so do all the big box stores online

This is why knowing your own measurements and carrying a small measuring device be it a tape measure or just a piece of string
with knots tied at specific points to check the size specs.
Remember also to keep you fantasy in check - with obvious stuff that is not going to fit - no way - no how - no matter what ---
Simply know your limits on sizes as well as budget !
Does this make me LOOK foolish ? ridiculous ? something misplaced right out of a nursery ?

i have browsed the Bryant catalog for Cacique briefs, and like the styles. However ,many female customer reviews complain about the narrowness of the gusset/crotch panel. Do you find this as an issue ?

I find this an issue. I like panties with wider crotch to keep things in place (always pointing down and back).
Because of that I often goes to the swimsuit section and find som nice bikini-bottoms.
Usually they have a wider crotch. Bonus; you can wear them when swimming:giggle:

That is soo true, I don't know why underwear manufacturers make the crotch soo small.
I remember panties from the 70's had much, much larger and longer crotches.

Really strange - really really - the female pelvic region is wider than the male - so why the narrow piece of gusset and lack of
fabric/material to fill this void ? The male pelvic region which could use the room for the comfort of the boys is narrower and
the panty (ah er male underwear) is ample in this area to contain those boys and that hose critter.
Really strange indeed - or just a casual observation ?
