OK how do you get the freaking chat thing to work?!

OK I've tried almost everything and it still won't let mr IM others, how do I solve this issue? Please HELP!!!!!!!

Double clicking on their name should work, if not try typing this:

/query nameofchatter

to PM somebody.

Well it's the chatroom page itself it won't allow me to message because it says error Connection to Unix domain no such file or directory.

What do I do for that?

Get a proper client and stop using web apps would probably be good.

I might have stumbled across the missing part to this puzzle this morning: in the wiki, there were two minor errors in the link URL. The URL in the text was correct. The link in the wiki should work now.

The "live chat" option above has three menu items. The first goes to the wiki page for irc. That would explain how he ended up at the wiki without knowing he was there.
