Just saw notification that Betterdry briefs will no longer be available at Northshore. Crinklz are recommended instead. Anyone know why and is there an alternate source?

They are definitely discontinued. This makes me wonder if Crinklz will end up the same way.

I recently learned of this when trying place an order at NorthShore. LL Medico also appears to not have any size medium or large BetterDry in stock. It this a product being discontinued, not simply NorthShore no longer stocking them?

Oh this would make me very sad. This is by far my favorite brand. The fit is positively perfect. *sigh* I feel like every 5 years or so I have to hunt for a new brand as my favorite is usually discontinued or the product altered in a way that it's no longer worth it.

This does not surprise me at all. I really don't think the are all that great of a diaper anyway. But you have to think NorthShore would eventually stop promoting others diapers as they make far better profits on their own products.

Hmm, if these are being discontinued, how close are Dry 24/7 in look and feel?

Dry 24/7 is far better. Also, all the Crinklz designs are super ugly, and it's hard for me to understand why people buy them. But, if that's all there is, I guess there's not much of a choice.

This is disappointing - my location makes northshore an optimal supplier, but their in house diapers aren't a good fit for me and I tend to have leaks before I can fully use them, even though they're specced better than Betterdry. Waste of $$.

As a DL, I don't care for crinklz prints either, but if they fit me I guess I will stick with those. Hope crinklz stays around if Betterdry doesn't. Maybe I'll give the 24/7s a try again, don't remember what they were like tbh.

Dry 24/7 was my old favorite prior to betterdry but the 24/7s tapes were massively decreased in quality. They essentially became single use tapes. Anyone know if they fixed that?

Dry 24/7 are by far the noisiest diaper on the market. Sometimes that’s a good thing, but not if you work in a very quiet office.

This really sucks. I’ve mostly switched to buying betterdry via Llmedico since it tends to be much more cheaper than what north shore sells them for. First Tena Slip imports going away and now this. Hope they just ran out and not discontinued. It just fit fairly well and cost was very doable. XP 5000 is my other go to, but they go out of stock for months at a time and still isn’t the same thing. Plus the latest XP bag from the case I just got has plastic backing that is starting to worry me, it’s close to what Unique Wellness started doing when pin holes were in nearly every diaper and still are. Quality of plastic went down hill a lot. Really starting to run out of options. Might have to go back to Abena with their weaker plastic but still decent diaper. I miss when Abena had the better plastic. I guess north shore supremes with their high cost may end up being what I go back to if they can keep white in stock. Just not liking the higher costs.

XPMedical was out of the BetterDry medium. So I went with a case of the XP5000. Hoping I won't be disappointed.

They don't leak yet, but the quality of the plastic is getting worse and a lot more wrinkles in it too. I'm only about half way through my first bag in the case I got a week or two ago.

I reached out to Thrust Vector (the manufacturer of Betterdry) and was promptly replied to by one of their associates. According to them, Northshore was including free samples of Northshore's own products with Betterdry orders. (I can confirm this, as it occured with some of my orders). It looks like enough people switched from Betterdry to Northshore that Northshore dropped Betterdry. I have since reached out to LL Medico to inquire when they will be resupplied with Betterdry. It would be nice if Adam from Northshore would weigh in on this. 'Til then, I will keep my friends here posted.

Just to clarify, Thrust Vector isn’t discontinuing them?
