Finally I got a new computer.:D:D

23" Full hd monitor

Beats my old HP nc6000 by a mile. $1300 total setup. I have a deep empty feeling in the pit of my wallet but I'm still in heaven. Of course I still have to transfer all my files to it.

Everything looks good, asides maybe the video card. I am pretty sure it can still play games but I am not sure how well it can play the newer games.

then again I am using a 8800GT and it's still doing fairly well.

Only question is, what're your plans for your old machine?

Very nice setup, but like fire said if your going to play newer games you will need to change that video card, its slower than 8800s

mm3> I'll more than likely keep it around and try and upgrade it for collage eventually.

That is one VERY expensive system, congrats on having it and being able to afford it. I am 2 years in on my current system, meaning I'll squeeze ~3 more years out of it. I typically only dump about $800 in parts per system, a notch below cutting edge can save about $400. That said, I still wouldn't mind having that computer, even if it IS a dell.
