Call me old fashioned, but I like either cotton gauze or Birdseye prefolds or contours. About as “modern” as I get is substituting Snappi(s) for safety pins. It could be my reasons for liking these “old fashioned” diapers is my lifelong affinity, over 2/3rds of a century, for plastic pants which are used with this type of diaper which justifies the use of the object of my affection. They’re also FAR less expensive than the newer style diapers.

They're cute! I hope they serve you well. Like Zeke I mostly wear pin-on (or Snappi-on) sorts of cloth diapers, but I have an assortment of modern styles as well and they have their place. They're certainly more discreet, so when I'm brave enough to wear a cloth diaper out of the house, it's usually one of those.
