Wondering if anyone else has tried to make a makeshift changing table? I am looking at getting a folding massage table and putting a cute fitted sheet over it. I can even fasten a strap to go across my chest. Put some plastic drawers under for all the diapers and supplies.

You know this made me have an idea for a makeshift changing table. It might be viable to buy like a cheap kitchen island and go from there. For example something like this: http://www.wayfair.com/TMS-Kitchen-Island-with-Wood-Top-II-83560WHT-TXR1388.html or http://www.wayfair.com/TMS-Kitchen-Island-with-Wood-Top-III-83562WHT-TXR1389.html and then all you need to do is put some sort of cushy/waterproof thing on top and maybe a strap. Then again those are not that deep. Maybe if you get 2 of them and have them back to back again each other. I don't know maybe I'm just a silly wolf pup :p Just an idea hehe

See I like the idea of the massage table that folds for easy storage or hiding when family or friends are over. Washable sheet and removable straps. Plus you can get a cheap one on craigslist. Gives lots of customization options

That makes sense. Why not just get a changing pad and just change on your bed then?

Because not as "babyish" feeling. There is something about the idea of laying on top of a changing table that is more appealing than just laying on my bed with a pad.

I'd love to get one when I move out someday! Hopefully get an adult-sized changing mat as well. :paci:
