My wig came today.
I ordered a dress from Macy's
I have bought some makeup and want to have a makeover at a Macy's or similar place.

Issues:
1) As a man I wear a gold wedding band. I have worn it for 38 years and it won't come off. Other than wearing gloves, how do I disguise it?

2) How do I remove makeup from my cosmetics session? How long does it take?

3) I have been working on a female voice, it is not bad but it sounds false to me, maybe because I know it is fake. Can I load mp3 files here using the 'attach files' button?

Someone help please!

1) I wouldn't sweat it. My wife's wedding band is pretty much identical to mine other than being a little smaller. In both cases they are proportional to our hand sizes.

2). They make make up removal wipes (Neutragena) or you can just use a wet washcloth. I suppose baby wipes work for this but I have not tried that.

3) You can attach files but they may not autoplay. You can insert media (click on the ... button on the editor) that are hosted on other sites.
There are tons of voice feminization tools and websites and youtube videos.

I have watched some of the videos and some of the 'girls' sound very natural. On the other hand someone on Youtube ,- Ericerica looks gorgeous when madeup but is anything but natural with regard to his girl voice.

Generally it complicate to appreciate It's own voice

Like others have said
1) don't worry too much about the ring.

2) Baby wipes to get most of it off, then make-up removal wipes.
Neutrogena ones are nice, but really even store brand ones do the trick.
This is a great product to finish with & even use everyday Liquid Neutrogena Facial Cleanser

2a) It only takes a few minutes to fully remove make-up.
Oh! try to stay away from "waterproof" mascara & "48hour" liquid lipstick cause they do not like to come off, LOL!!

2b) If you go to a cosmetics counter to get a make over they expect you to purchase a certain amount of their product.
No such thing as a free lunch, lol.

Also, be upfront with them & its best to call ahead and make an appointment instead of just walking up.
At the end of the day, a sale is a sale to them, they don't really care who the buyer is, lol

That's true even if you're not trying to change it. I hate listening to recordings of myself. Oddly, the other thing that's really unnerving is listening to midi playbacks of my piano playing. All the slight mistakes (or style, if you will) in my playing is more unnerving listening to come out of the piano by itself than it did when I was playing it.

Mandybear thank you.
I don't expect people to read all of this though some advice would be appreciated. I wrote this partially as a list of things I need to think about to get ready to take Deanna out.

I understand about the purchase expectation for the makeover. Should I tip as well? If so, how much?
Should I dress as Deanna* to go to the appointment?
*NAME
I think my name is Deanna. I like it because:
1 it is easy to remember
2 definitely female, but
3 not an attention getter (don't want to draw attention. Thought about Hortense but it sounded like a kind of performance anxiety and a misspelling could be unfortunate.)
LIPS
I have been using the following on my lips;
A) STAY MATTE liquid lip color #500 Fire Starter
It is scented and kind of a cross between red and maroon. It dries a bit over time so seems to keep some color better than the next one
B) COVERGIRL - Melting Pot, Vinyl Flow. It is also a red but redder than Fire Starter and doesn't dry or stay on but I like leaving lipstick prints on my cups.
EYES
A) I have Ardells Double Up black 203 eyelashes and some glue. Tried them on last week. It wasn't a perfect job but made an amazing difference in my appearance but I want to watch some more video hints. I may give up on them if the rest of the makeup is very helpful.
B) My eyebrows only seem to be a shadow so they need help.
C) I have huge dark circles under my eyes that something needs to be done about.
HAIR
A HEAD
I bought a KAYLESS wig and am wearing it at the moment. I am trying to get used to it and see what issues it might present out in public.
B BEARD
Hate it. I guess it's shave and color correcting makeup. Need some expert advice.
C BODY HAIR Oh No! Going to have to shave my arms from the hands up, arm pits, legs and chest but I can't reach my back so, I will be limited in what I can wear. I cut my hair on Friday and used the clippers on my chest hair then spent the weekend feeling itchy-weird. See, I have bushes, they're on my chest, stomach and back. The one most girls worry about won't be a problem for Deanna since she won't be wearing a bikini.
ACCESSORIES
A I guess I need a purse
B Shoes, are they an accessory or other category? I have s pair of white 2'' heels they are simple with straps on both sides meeting at the toe. I have been practicing walking but am not great at it.
C Anything else? My granddaughter has been wearing a choker I like.
Suggestions?

Question one, are you trans or is only for "fun" because if you are trans I think it's will be interesting to you to consider Permanent hair removal (it's but if you don't want this hair it's a very effective solution.

I don't sure if you dress like Deanna it's good ideas the question is do you want to have your own personality, or do you want to have the personality of your model?

Just for fun.

You're welcome :)
TBH, I have no idea, LOL. You could always ask about tipping when you call.

Lips: I have a few, but I like the Maybelline super stay 24 liquid lip color. Stays on forever, doesn't leave prints on cups thou.

Regular lip sticks look great, but need reapplying, leave marks = too much work for me most days, lol.

False Eyelashes: Again no idea, never used them, I have friends who do and look great but not for me.

Eyebrows: you can always fill them in with an eyeliner pencil. Lightly stroke, do not draw, lol

Dark Circles: concealer is your friend, lol. Also check out Garnier eye roller and Sudden Change .
They are not instant fixes, but both do help over time. Coffee downing, Insomniac approved! lol

Wig: wig glue? bobbie pins? Sorry, limited experience here too.

Face: A good concealer / foundation / corrector should cover what needs to be covered.
A stick foundation, coverup, concealer works wonders for dark circles, blemishes, ect, ect.
So should do the same to cover up the facial hair stubble.

Remember thou, you are going for a make over, so do not go too overboard with the makeup because its all getting removed anyways, lol.
You basically just need enough to get you there, lol.

Clothes and Accessories:
It may not sound like fun, but if you are looking to fit in, don't wear a dress and heels when jeans and sneakers will do, lol.
Knee hi boots are a great staple, very in fashion, come in a lot of flat/low heels and can be worn with just about anything from a dressy dress to ripped jeans, lol. And everybody, regardless of age looks good in them.

A nice long sleeve top or sweater will look nice and coverup most of your body hair problems too.
Tights will do the same for your legs, its still winter out!
Cause no girl ever has worn tights when skipping a day, or two, of shaving. lol

Girls clothes = No Pockets!! Or very tiny/useless ones. So a purse is pretty much mandatory.
Try to keep the accessories and jewelry to a minimum, do some people watching to see what the avg woman your age range wears.

For me, because of work, and being lazy, lol, I wear little to no jewelry.
Earrings, single small necklace, watch and a small bracelet sometimes. That's pretty much it, lol.
Funny thing thou, Our watches are notoriously small and hard to read.
Because of this and actually needing to see what time it is quickly, I wear a men's watch to work. lol.

You didn't mention Breasts. The boobies are important! LOL
Do you have any ideas or plans?

As far as going there as Deanna or yourself??? Hmmmm.
Which one sounds better = You leaving there as Deanna or as male you with a full face of makeup?

I live in East Central Florida so I have worn shorts and t-shirts all Winter so there is little coving up here. As for boobs, there are some very realistic options. As a sixty something male I find 'shopping' for them to be enjoyable but distracting. I would chide myself for being coarse by saying that except it seems most women are as focused on breasts as men are. In fact, I am still exploring options. I guess a sling and some grapefruit are not an option. Any advice would be appreciated.

Interesting. I guess I will need to consult my GP for a prescription. In the movie A Girl Like Me Gwen/Eddie was being counseled by a gender specialist. Anyone know how to find one of those? Gwen was beautiful!

Well its currently 25 degrees F up here in the North East. Tomorrow is the first day of Spring, but we ain't feelin it just yet. :(

With breasts, don't go overboard. I'm not saying stick to an A cup, but don't go straight for DDD's either, lol.
Also, wait till you get something then measure yourself with them to find a proper bra.
There are lots of different ways & methods of finding our Band & Cup sizes.
Basically its your:
Under your bust [just below the breasts around rib cage] = Band size
Over the fullest part of your breast = This number - Band size above = Cup size
Each inch above the band size equals 1 cup size. 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D, 5=DD
So lets say, Band size = 36,
Over breast = 39.
That would be a 36 Band & [39-36=3] 3= C cup = A 36C bra.
Simply right? Wrong.... LOL.
Some places say add 1 for odd, 2 for even numbers, while some say add 3 for odd, 4 for even to your band size first.
Others will tell you NOT to add anything to the number, except to round up to the next even number. 37 = 38, ect.
You always want an even number as thats what the sizes go by, 28 30 32 34 36 38 40 ect.

Some bra material is stretchy and forgiving, others, not so much, lol.
Also there is whats called "sister sizes" ex a 36B is the same as a 34C or 38A
If you go down 1 in band you add 1 in cup, or up in band, then go down in cup.
And you wondered why we take so long to shop, LOL.

Deanna ordered 2 bras from Penny's at a reasonable price. Should be here next week. She is looking forward to trying them.

In addition to the 2 bras Deanna ordered online, she also ordered some nice panties. Her sandals have shipped as has another dress. I took her shopping today and she impressed me with how inconspicuous she was, I doubt anyone noticed she was there. Bought some concealor, nails and foundation. She also watched a couple of videos on simulating boobs using stockings and rice. Deanna and diaper wetting have had to keep a low profile yesterday and today but tomorrow promises to be a makeup and soggy diapers day. The forecast includes flash flood advisories. Hope to have a chance to play in some puddles.

You could probably just ammend it instead if bothers you. Take nail polish or something paint it pink or even attach something to it
