This was torturous! I'm not really inclined towards lists (although I really liked 'High Fidelity', but it doesn't make the cut), so I really hadn't given this a lot of serious thought. Since you're asking favorite movies rather than what I judge to be the best, I went for movies that I think I could watch any number of times and not easily become tired of them. Even with that, they were a killer to pick, so obviously order is out of the question.
