I read this post earlier in somewhat disbelief. Life is a lot tougher than having your favorite anime rejected. I can think of real life tragedies that have happened to some of our members. James came downstairs to find his mother dead of an asthma attack. MM3 lost his girlfriend to leukemia. My own son lost his girlfriend when she, her cousin and three others went over a cliff in West Virginia after a prom party. All five were killed. My granddaughter saw her grandmother, daughter in laws mother, die right in front of her as she and her grandfather walked up the driveway. She had run out to give her a big hug. Last Christmas me and my wife drove into our driveway the last day of school before Christmas vacation. I was feeling so good. I love Christmas, and the family was coming in for the week. My son and daughter in law, and three grand children were there. Our daughter in law came up to the car crying. She is the nurse for a severely handicapped school, and I thought she lost a student. They do die over there. Instead, her best friend was murdered by her estranged husband.
I guess by know you see where I'm going with all of this. This is a tough world, where we are expected to suffer, and suffer hard. I don't know what all happened during your day, but one needs to keep things in perspective. Life is a proving ground, and a place to grow, develop and mature. I personally have to take one day at a time, otherwise I would go insane. The trick is to see the big picture. For me, that picture encompasses something that is greater than the universe. As for all the little earth problems, who cares. If someone doesn't like your favorite anime character, just remind them that some day, and some day soon, real hell will come into all of your lives. So it is better to love one another while you can, and embrace the good things of life, because those things are there as well. Anime.....who cares!
