Late 90s/Early 2000s Pampers

As requested by a few users, here are some close up pictures of some vintage Pampers I posted about a few weeks ago. They are size 5, plastic backed and have different designs of teddy bears on the landing zone.

Well...somebody had to say it. Now this is how I'd like to see the SDKs. This new version sucks beginning with the ugly blue liner.

Just...wow. These are almost my "perfect era" Pampers from when I was really discovering my DLism. As @LittleScotty says, it's not just the nappy, but the packaging too.

Not only they definitely abandoned the crinkly plastic backing as of late 2000 but also dropped the Lee Middleton mascotte which was the brand's trademark since the early 1970s!

Well...somebody had to say it. Now this is how I'd like to see the SDKs. This new version sucks beginning with the ugly blue liner.

The newer version has the original smooth buttery plastic like the original ones.
The original ones had blue but it was much lighter, the very dark blue they have on them now is ugly. I don’t know why they keep changing the sdk’s, sometimes the plastic feels like vinyl, they added waist bands and now the tapes are lower. Ugh!!!!
I don’t know of any other companies that are inconsistent with their diaper quality like abu is with sdk’s.
