Greetings, lovely littles and diapered delinquents. Hope you're all having an awesome day.
I was gonna make a post about my adventures in furry Japanese Stardew Valley but I've actually been focusing a lot on an app called HelloTalk this week. I both love and hate it. Okay, my hate for it mostly has to do with my social anxiety, it's actually a really awesome app. It's a language exchange app to meet folks all over the world learning all sorts of languages, not just Japanese. You can chat to people via instant message and can also post status updates like on Twitter or Facebook.
My favourite feature is that a person can then click on your message and correct any mistakes you've made. I largely post about video games, food, and my dog. I do like this posting feature because it's making me more comfortable with speaking the language instead of just throwing me in the deep end of doing a chat with a native speaker. I'm not really there yet. I mean, I've tried but I respond twice and then run away because scared. I have no self-esteem when it comes to Japanese. Which isn't surprising seeing as I sound like a drunk toddler. To be fair, I also sound like that in English.
