It's not really incontinence...You are just associating running water to peeing...

that's typical... I always end up peeing when I'm in the shower or brushing my teeth... or washing dishes for that matter...

Well some people try to wet by turning on a faucet or something...It like helps them imagine them peeing...For you it just seems like you can easily associate between the two...I don't really know any remedy for this though

I don't know but I think you might want to see a doctor.. :-/

I would be doing that in this kind of situation, even if it isn't incontinence, it certainly shouldn't be happening.

I haven't had this happen anywhere else, but in the shower or bath it always happens. I think this is natural, but when you're not in the shower, I'd be wearing a diaper when brushing my teeth or doing the dishes if I were you!

This all goes back to that Rugrats episode where Angelica would turn on the faucet to try to make Chucky wet his pants when he was being potty trained. I guess it's real if it was on Rugrats, that show seems legit.

Yeah it's totally legit having little kids doing the things they do...

I don't think I'd call it typical, unless you want to qualify it as typical for a long-term diaper wearer (and I'd still want some more examples). Maybe it's not surprising that you'd have the urge. Also not surprising that you'd yield to that urge since you're frequently diapered, but most people seem to get past exposure to running water without losing theirs.

I sometimes get the urge to pee when water is running, but I can't remember ever losing control.. although, if I'm outside, and it's cold, and I have to pee, then all bets are off.. Cold weather always makes me have to pee badly..

But I agree with others have said, you are associating running water with peeing..

i sometimes get the urge to pee when i turn on the faucet and if im diapered i just let it go. I also get sudden urges every time i turn on the shower. i think it has something to do with hot water temporarily relaxing the muscles thus causing one to pee. If you've ever heard of putting someones hand in a cup of warm water while they sleep then u know what i mean.

Just pee in the shower and save the water for flushing the toilet ;) It all goes down the same drain anyway!

Or wear diapers and don't flush the toilet at all...

I mean seriously... has anyone thought about the amount of water your typical toilet wastes?

Especially for pee... 5-10 gallons per flush... to clear away a cupfull of urine? It's rediculous.

Water restrictions are so tight around here right now that I haven't been able to wash my car since november... and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Good idea Pojo... we conserved water so well here in the Charlotte area that the water & sewer department was 20 million under budget... so they are having to raise everyone's water bill by 15%.

Now what kind of message is that sending?

Thanks for doing what we asked and conserving... we're gonna hike your rates now!

Yeah, but diapers waste more water in production, then casue more damage to the environment then using the toilet does. AND THEY COST MORE!

They did the same thing in my area. But, regardless, I still make an effort to conserve. I remember in 2002 when we came within about a month of not having any water before it finally start raining. I don't want that to happen again.

But yeah, I'm not convinced that using a disposable diaper is any better. I guess the best of both worlds would be a cloth diaper, since you probably could wash it in less than the 8 gallons of water it takes to flush.
