Does anyone else notice that there incontinence is heavily influenced by there mental health? It’s a known for me personally and by my Dr and therapist, that I spasm more in my bladder and struggle more with accidents when heavily stressed, depressed or struggling with mental health. Kinda like how some ppl get tight shoulders when stressed.

I’m honestly just curious to see how many others have this.

I’ve been thinking lately, if I am under more stress, this typically gives me a IBS flare.

Absolutely when stressed upset etc my bladder spasms are very frequent and more intense granted it really doesn't make much difference as I'm diaper dependent but I notice a big difference especially with my IBS normal day like 3 changes emotional stressed mentally fucked like 6 or more and I notice it's all way more painful 😖

I don’t have IBS. But what you said on spasms and everything is very similar to me! I feel your pain.

we all need a healthy amount of stress in life. But I’m assuming when you say your referencing bad stress or too much stress

I believe bedwetting is sometimes related to mental health problems and sometimes the medications themselves can be an issue. I have neuro problems that impact my muscle control and that seems to be my main problem these days. My specialist almost always asks about bladder control issues when I talk to him.
