I have always had issues feeling like I didn't belong.
A socially anxious, high-functioning autistic boy who liked to dance, sing, and cook doesn't really fit in with the other boys in school.
I always seem to fit in after a while, but fitting in and feeling like you belong are two completely separate things.

I made my introduction, but I feel like I didn't say enough. I also feel like I said plenty.
I want to share in this community, but I'm a loner that hates talking with other people.
I want to show you all of the cool things that I can and will do, but I can't seem to start on any of the projects to get them in a semi-working state.

So here I am, suffering from feeling like I'm an ABDL on my own little island, like I don't belong.
I know I do, but something just doesn't feel right.

Can anyone relate?

There’s a lot of us that feel like that but in my case it’s an unintentional sense of superiority

I see people doing things that seem pointless and I just think why? For example I see men grovelling over women (which ironically creates the results they don’t want) and again I’m just like why 😂 why does literally near enough every person do the same thing as the next, especially when the logic is counterintuitive.

Or when people start a habit like drinking alcohol and going out to parties I can’t help but see if as pointless (why would you intentionally poison yourself) again why 😂

Or when people care about pointless shit waay too much or if people are debating over something that has the simplest of solutions, AGAIN WHY!

Or why does everyone just wear black 90% of the time and not care about their own individuality and personality.

Or why does everyone and their mother flock to their phones and watch pointless videos for hours on end.

believe me you’re not alone people piss me off daily.

I am autistic too, and sometimes I regress, use bottles, pacifier, stuffed animals, diapers, and sometimes even wet the bed, and I don’t understand, but when I do I feel safe

You mean unintentionally wet the bed right? As for why you feel safe (disclaimer I’m not a doctor) but my guess is maybe you find it hard to function in the adult world maybe with socialising or just daily activities (whatever the reason may be) so when you go into little mode you don’t have to do any of that it’s all just familiar to you and gives you comfort.

I can function in the adult world but come the end of the day I go fully little and switch my mind of to the world.

That is what I have been doing, every night, but now that I am on vacation I am doing a little more during the day,
I usually wet the bed when anxious, the last two months had 7, but now that I am on vacation stopped, but I still like to wear at night

Hey , I feel the same way about some of the same things . I do know I am more introverted , I don’t think I was ever autistic but I had other problems .
You ask why and that’s ok but remember people always ask why about things they find hard to understand.
Why be gay , transgendered, love diapers or regressing .
It’s because we are all different and that’s okay as long as you’re not hurting someone . So do your thing enjoy that it’s ok to be different reach out to others like yourself , like we all do here .
Remember things do happen in time and when it comes to people ,even here you get what you put into it .
Don’t be afraid to post and try to response to others ,
Even here we are different but we get to know and understand each other better with our words , use your words .
I have had differences with different groups of people on here , I respect them for who and what they are but without words I believe that we become closers to understanding our differences and why we are the way we are.

I love all my brothers and sisters on this sight , we are like a family and like all we don’t always agree on things but that’s okay because again we are all different.

The difference is for every “why” I get asked I always have an answer that is logical and makes sense if only other people thought the same.

Ultimately though life is just one big WHY

Autism has long lived within my family and continues within my extended family. Although I have been missed, a quick look and it is easily found. As a result I have an understanding.

As you are quickly seeing Autism has many faces here within ADISC! Many individuals that have like experiences, wants and needs. So, although you have already provided an introduction, let me say it again: Welcome to this magical World of ADISC!

Yes you’re right , I’m 58 and don’t know the meaning of life , Why is one conscious soul born into one certain state of circumstance's .
I always say “ life is a symphony of chaos ‘’

God got bored and decided to put fractions of his consciousness into vessels also known as humans 😂

Logically speaking not a single iota should exist we are quite living a paradox it’s impressive but if there isn’t a god then it was a good ride, one we may ride again given infinite probability and time being a concept of the human mind. People don’t realise how incredible they are to just simply exist, if you can exist you can do anything 💯

I agree sometimes I think maybe we are reborn sometimes in another soul and consciousness. Who knows? It’s all kinda like a giant crapshoot.

I can relate. Although I have not been diagnosed as ASD (the health insurance I have will not pay for autism testing), by every self-test I've taken (many), I am clearly on the spectrum. Find your inner strength.

I'm 50 and I was only diagnosed with autism and ADHD three years ago (after I realised myself two years and one year earlier respectivly). It's obviously a huge relief, and it makes me understand my past much better. But there's still so much to unravel, especially in terms of support needs after a chaotic life of depression, confusion, low self-esteem and anxiety. What I do know, however, is that I'm going to spend the rest of my life being myself as much as I can, regardless of social norms. I wouldn't go as far as using obvious baby items like bottles or pacifiers in public, and if anyone ever sees my nappy it is going to be accidental. But in terms of my clothing style I don't care what some people might think (and in fact I get positive comments all the time for daring to be different). That's one major takeaway that I've had from finding out about my neurodivergence.

You have a lot of company here. Many of us are “loners” who don’t fit into the groups in any organization.

Honestly I can relate heavily. Being autistic, I've already been 'socially exiled' and haven't 'belonged' for quite some time. Add in a mix of BPD, where one minute you think everyone loves you, and the next you feel like nobody even notices you. It's a rollercoaster, and I too struggle to talk to others. Just know you're not alone in feeling like this :)

I can relate, I have BPD and it's crushing. Mood swings and constant paranoia over whether or not people really like me. I'm working on sorting it out, though :)

"Banging chicks", smoking and alcohol, dumb sports clothing, half closed eyes obstructing their vision because maintaining stinkeye posture is more important, clapped out piece of crap cars with fart mufflers bouncing off rev limiters, always trying to act like they are 15 pay grades above reality, and that god awful subwoofer. That's normal "men" these days. USA is a third world country now.

No thanks, don't want any part of it.
