I wish old ATTENDS DIAPERS from the 80's/90's were 'like the old ones' were back.

I had a few bedwetting incidents when I was around 8-12 yrs old , and my interests in DIAPERS began with these. When I was put in attends it felt so good, I believe that ATTENDS DIAPERS triggered my desire for DIAPERS . ANYONE WANT TO GIVE THEIR THOUGHTS ON ATTENDS PAMPERS?

The best thing about them was their stretchy, rubbery plastic that kind of squeeked when you rubbed them. Would love to wear a MegaMax-style diaper made from that plastic.

yeah they are NOT at all. I thought I scored a find last summer at a garage sale only to be disappointed. Attends were my first adult diaper purchase way back in 1986.

European Attends Contours (these are for fecal IC without wings) were the first adult nappy I wore as a kid aged 11. I stole them from my special school from a kid who had fecal incontinence. I haven't stopped wearing nappies since.

Me, too! I bought Attends starting in 1988 and wore/used them until PaperPak got 'em. The Procter & Gamble ones I wore looked, fit & felt just like Pampers 🥰...plus they were incredibly soft & comfy. I truly got babied in Attends. 🧸🍼

Back in the late '80s, I got 'em in boxes of 8 or 10...then along came the bags of 18. It all got ruined when P&G sold the brand, rights & machinery to PaperPak...they ruined it all. 😢

I think I remember boxes. I do remember the original Attends in the box. I think mid 90s they went to the bags. Agreed. The 3 blue tape Attends were the best at the time for disposables. Have been scanning old pics and negatives. just happened to realize how long they had them before they sucked. I think I went to cloth more often after that point.

The closest you can get to those old blue Attends are TDDC Plain and Simple Blue, NRU Str8Up Blue and Trest Elite Blue, although they don't have wetness indicators.

I have roughly half a bag of P&G Attends but they're medium and thanks to health issues, Prednisone & disabilities I can't fit in them anymore, at least not well. They will barely physically fit but not even close to being worth trying to use.

They had several pluses but the backing was and will always be the softest silkiest feeling backing. They insides was so much softer than the Depends also. But the smell when you opened the bag was just amazing. It was a clean fresh sent that even stayed after wetting. The other thin I really like is a six tape diaper. For diapers that don't have a landing zone those two extra tapes really helped to keep it secure. They was a comfortable diaper. I would prefer them over the depends in the day. Of course the vintage green Depends was a much, much better diaper than the shit they make now a days. I used either Attends or the Overnight Depends for years. I is funny how the leaders of the industry in the day are all but a joke today.

I would love for someone to bring out a modern version of the old Attends. If one of these companies like rearz was smart they would try and get the patent rights to the plastic and that smell. All the members here would purchase!.. Either as a memory of what was or if not, to see what all the hype was about for those that never used them or was not around in the 80's and 90's.
