I think Confidry (aka "Dry 24/7") tapes have improved - has anyone else noticed this?

I used to use Confidry - or Dry 24/7 as many call them - as my staple, but I gave up on them about 18 months ago because compared with other quality brands, the tapes were poor. With any other brand's refastenable tapes - dual layer tape or a landing zone - I could refasten twice with no problems, but with Confidry, once perhaps, and even then the adhesion was iffy (sidebar to say that for me refastening is a big deal because I use the washroom normally, but I also leak a lot in between, so a good quality diaper that I can open a few times in 8 hours is perfect for me)

I thought I'd give them another try, so I bought two bags a couple of weeks ago. So far I find the tapes to work considerably better than before. They seem to be stickier on the first re-taping and - the biggest difference - I've had no problems so far re-taping a second time. Tapes aside, the diapers still work great ("dry" indeed!) and are very comfortable. Despite their large profile, I've always found them be a little thinner between the legs than most high absorbency brands.

I had forgotten how noisy they are. Very crinkly! My wife never comments about my diaper sounds around the house (they're just a part of a life), but she mentioned a few days ago that "those are very noisy, aren't they?"

Curious to know if anyone else has found these to be improved??

The tapes also changed to more of a fabric feel, they don’t cut into your legs when they shift, overall a very good product.

Dry 24/7’s IMO need to be updated substantially. I notice when I buy them they break down WAY quicker than most other premium diapers.

They’re still good. But they don’t hold up next to modern diapers.

I find the opposite. They seem to hold together and wick better than betterdry and Megamax. But they are louder then the other two as well.

I find the same to be true. Much as I wish the noise level was much lower (like Megamax), I can't fault how well they work. When my wife asked why I was using different ones (noticing how much louder they are compared with my other staple) I said "because I literally don't feel any sensation of dampness - not even for a second". I do find Megamax to hold together great as well - I really like them - but darn it they are expensive.

I just wish I could find an affordable way of getting these to the UK.

SaveExpress in Germany used to stock them and they were great.

Are they still “Made in USA”?

I still like them but everytime I wear them they seem to clump quick and become hard to wear faster.

Dry 24/7.

With my other staple brand (Incontrol Essential) I sometimes feel slightly damp for a minute or two after a bladder leak. It's no big issue - it's very slight and doesn't last long, but I can notice it. By contrast, I never feel damp even for a second with Dry 24/7. It's like the Dry 24/7 absorption is as close to instantaneous as possible.

I've tried a lot of brands, and for me (many of these are subjective, so YMMV :) ) the top performers are below.

Comfort (not too bulky in any one place): Abena M4 // Dry 24/7
Overall fit: Megamax // Incontrol Essential
Discrete sound: Tena Slip Active Fit // Megamax
Discrete fit: Tena Slip Active Fit // Abena M4
Absorbency: Dry 24/7 // Betterdry
Overall durability: Megamax // Incontrol Essential
Tendency not to clump: Incontrol Essential // Megamax
Best leg elastics: Incontrol Essential // Megamax
Best waist elastics: Megamax // Incontrol Essential
Best tapes (strong and refastenable): Incontrol Essential // Megamax
Fun factor: Rearz Select Vintage (designed to be like adult Pampers) // Incontrol Essential (they "smell like diapers", but it's subtle)
Value for the money: Incontrol Essential // Dry 24/7
Biggest disappointment: Unique Wellness (they would split up the back during the night and they weren't very comfortable. Absorbent for sure, but that's about all I can say)

I never had any problems with the old tapes either. This diaper doesn’t clump or fall apart like the Betterdry.

Most of the Chinese diapers hold up very well, but they wick poorly and swell a lot, confidry and seni both do a good job wicking, the Seni also hold up extremely well wet or dry.
