I Have Finally Achieved Wetting while Lying Down!!!

Tonight I was lying in bed Diapered, wetting throughout the evening to make less trips to the bathroom to pee (because I'm having to pee a lot tonight due to combination being a diabetic and having too much soda), and...I did it! So far I've mastered wetting while standing and while sitting, but haven't really been able to wet while lying down. However, tonight I finally did it!

I had been wetting while sitting at my computer most of the evening, and just climbed into bed to lay down and play some video games before I go to sleep, and while lying down I got the urge and decided to give lay down wetting another try. So, after little to no effort I successfully wet while lying down! Twice! I was so happy because now I have officially wet in all 3 positions!😊

I think part of why I couldn't before is because I was afraid of leaking in bed, try as I might, deep down I was still holding back. But now I think I'm more inclined because I don't have to worry about leaks with my Rearz Princess Pink Plastic Pants! Because since lying down seems to be the most susceptible to Diaper leaks the Plastic pants are a must! Since I'm not wearing an ABDL Diaper but in fact a Walmart Diaper I knew that with all the wettings they were going to have to endure tonight they'd get too full and leak eventually, they're also not nearly as absorbent as ABDL Diapers so, I put on the Plastic Pants to contain any leaks should they occur. So, since I had the Plastic Pants I knew there was no need to worry about leaking when wetting while lying down.

So, I went for it and I finally managed to do it! Similar to how a toddler is congratulated for using the potty for the first time, I have this weird feeling that this Big Baby should be congratulated for wetting while lying in bed for the first time! I'm sure if I had a Mommy she'd be so proud of me! Obviously I don't have a Mommy to do that for me though so, I thought I'd turn to the ADISC Community because this is a big deal for me, it's a HUGE accomplishment and almost feels like a rite of passage as an ABDL/Diaper Wearer, because now I can wet anytime, anywhere! Eventually I'll get to the point where wearing/wetting Diapers long enough that I won't even have to TRY to wet, it'll just happen! 😊

I can't wait till I have my own place and can wear Diapers all the time at my OWN HOME instead of now when I'm only able to wear/use when my Dad isn't here, and I can dispose of the Diaper immediately by taking out the garbage. When I'm on my own none of that will be an issue because no one will be there with me and I'll have my own Diaper pail to put all my dirty Diapers in! Eventually I'll have a Nursery too! It's gonna be so great! I can tell ya at MY PLACE, MY TOILET will get little to no use! Someday I'll get there. But for now I think this is a HUGE step in the right direction for achieving that ultimate goal! And I wanted to share it with the people who I know would be happy for me and support me...my fellow ABDLs here on ADISC! Let's talk more in the comments and

I tried wetting my diaper while lying down into the bed without success; I finally woke up in wet sheets and was completely disgusted!

I only wet my disposables in a standing position to prevent nasty accidents like this.

So sorry to hear that. Have you tried wearing Plastic Pants to bed? I'm sure they'd save you from those wet sheets.

Ha ha. Congratulations Elsa! I agree that eliminating the fear of leaks is huge deal psychologically. I'm glad you're wearing something trustworthy. (As all babies should.) I have very little experience wetting while lying down and still find it difficult. It's sort of a test of how relaxed I am--almost a meditation. And yet, when I'm siting or standing, I can use my diaper almost automatically. It's honestly fascinating (but also sort of infuriating!) how a little bit of potty programming can become so ingrained.

Too late. I hit the max, and my Plastic Pants have done a great job containing any leaks. But now both them and the Diaper are so soaked that my jammies got a little wet on the side...just a little...but I still better change before going to sleep. Goodnight 🌜💤

I just recently started trying to learn how to wet lying down. I can do it standing and sitting, including on the side of a bed with a bit of concentration. But, so far, I've briefly had the urge to pee while lying down and then it just went away immediately after. When I sat up or stood up, the urge was still there. I'm not IC but I'm fascinated by the concept and want to give it a try, especially because I find it thrilling to actually succeed with it.

Does anyone have any good tips? I tried some of the hypnosis and wasn't successful yet, probably because you need to master peeing while lying down for it to properly work. I also don't have good enough diapers (baby diapers currently) that I would want to try anything like side wetting yet, although I did it briefly once before and it was an instant leaker. My goal is to practice peeing while lying down on my back.

Also, @ABDLElsa, are you a Type 1 Diabetic? I am. I can drink a lot of soda and still that mental block will prevent me from peeing while lying down. I'm really eager to master it like I did with the other positions. I think part of it is that I can't fully relax, and I can't get the urge to come to me while in a prone lying down position like I can while standing or, when concentrating, sitting.

I'm actually just using diapers as stuffers right now until I get my ConvertUps delivered in a few days hopefully, but its still is baby diapers so this is all just practice and nothing serious. But any tips would be greatly appreciated. I want the satisfaction of being able to relax and let myself flow even when lying down, so I can enjoy the babyish feeling in entirety.

You'll get there, just keep trying. I've been practicing ABDL since 2014 so that's almost 10 years! Doesn't happen overnight. Took quite a while just for me to be able to wet my Diaper! Baby steps (pun totally intended!) Also, no I'm type 2 Diabetic.

Thanks for the encouragement! It feels like I've been onto this passion for so long and not doing anything with it to actually experience it. I've accepted who I am and am looking forward to achieving that lying position wetting.

Take care as you are now entering that zone where being diapered at night becomes ever more important as another has found. Once the system becomes comfortable accidents become ever more comfortable and you will at some point wake-up wet! With great luck you will be padded!

It’s curious how your terminology reminds me of potty training and “achieving” the goal of staying dry, but in your situation it’s reversed. I felt like I’d achieved something when I awoke to a dry bed one morning, when I was about ten, after years of waking up to a wet and cold bed. I guess different goals mean different achievements!

I don't remember potty training at all but I was never a bedwetter or anything. However, I just find myself on a journey to explore the lifestyle I've always loved but never had the courage to actually try until recently. In regard to the wetting lying down, it's mostly out of interest and not actually a desire to become fully incontinent. But yes, practice makes perfect and I'd like to get the process down for when I decide to use my diaper in bed.

Wow, lucky you. I'm still practicing and trying to get past the mental block I have when lying down. The very occasional times I've been able to let a few miscellaneous squirts go, it's felt very rewarding and just great overall, going straight down the middle of the diaper like it was meant to.

I totally understand why you'd be weary about wetting laying down. One time I wet standing up, laid down and I leaked! So since then I always stand up and wet. I hope to wet laying down one day though!
