Drove 30 minutes to a store that sold them because i live in the middle of nowhere. Looked very carefully at the packaging for "taped diapers" i grabbed a pack and bought them. Only to find out that its still a pullup with adjustable tabs, one of which ripped off completely before i could even put it on. Why does everyone hate taped diapers so much!?

End rant :/

Not that they're good but if you must buy Depends, you should be looking for Fitted Maximum Protection. Before that, they were Depend Protection with Tabs.

Ordering online is really the way to go. It is possible to have them delivered to shipping stores and in some cases other retail outlets. Worth looking into and avoiding the horrors of bad diapers.

I do not think I ever had a good experience with the Depends brand now-a-days. The old plastic backed diapers they use to make where alright with duct tape, but nothing to get exited about. ( it was the only adult diaper I could buy at the time ) .

CVS to the rescue ? These guys are pretty good for the price.

Depends have never been any good. Just because they're made by Kimberly-Clark and they're available at any store is supposed to imply they're good? Nope...

Pretty much any store-brand or bought diaper is going to be a waste of time, honestly. I have noticed that some Walmart stores have started carrying Tena Super briefs though, and they aren’t too bad.

Tena is pretty good. Haven't seen much of a variety of the brand here yet...meaning tabbed diapers.

I just noticed it for the first time last week. It might take some time for more store to put them on the shelves, but if in a pinch and available locally, they’d be your best bet.

Depends became garbage in the mid 90s if I recall. Prior to that they were on par with tranquility that we have now.

I suspect the US range isn’t as well developed as what’s available in Europe, though believe there are more similarities than there used to be.

Largely because American culture still suffers from Diaperphobia. Too many John Wayne movies. 🤭

Did he have an aversion to diapers? 😆

In the case of Tena, it’s a European company and probably doesn’t have the same sort of market share in America. You have some decent brands we don’t get over here (Northshore etc.) and a lot of the specialist ABDL diapers, and I think it’s similar between the UK and US in that physical retailers tend to concentrate on pads and pull-ups, with proper nappies generally being sold online and in specialist medical stores.

Legend has it The Duke used 12-grit sandpaper for TP...but that's just hearsay. We got our goods & not-so-goods here, too, I wouldn't mind getting hold of some Euro diaper samples someday. Still thrilled with Attends Premier for now. 🥳

In the UK that’s because most incontinent folk get their nappies FREE from our wonderful NHS 🇬🇧

Don’t believe the lies- there’s barely a person who is against free universal healthcare here, and we’re far from being a Communist state.

You can buy private healthcare here too (no-one is taking freedom of choice from you) but it tends to just mean a faster operation in a slightly nicer hospital. As such, less than 10% of the population bother.
