Just saw this in the news, happened about 4am. A big propane depot exploded... and continued exploding for quite some time. 12,500 people were evacuated. Happened about 30min from where I live.

Anyways here's a cool youtube of it.
YouTube - Huge explosion in Toronto

Reports are that 1 fireman has died so far.

Yeah, saw it on the news. My parents were in Toronto when it happened. They said they woke up to the sound of a thousand sirens racing down the road. They were far enough away that they didn't have to evacuate though.

Police are suspicious about how it just decided to blow up on its own. My guess is Cloverfield.

That is crazy. I saw the video and that was a massive fire ball.

Dude that shot looked so much like Cloverfield. Anyways that was a pretty good sized freaking fireball.

That would be pretty scary being near that explosion.

Cloverfield is a giant monster in the movie by the same name.
Cloverfield wasn't the name of the monster. I think it was more along the lines of "Holy shit, run!!"
...At least, that's what the characters called him.

Wow, that was NUTS. I kinda lol'd when the guy in one of the liveleak videos was like "wtf? holy shit!", he even caught the shockwave on video. That is freakin' scary though. I hope nobody else was hurt.
