How to limit movement

What the. . .? Holy lowrd! That's disturbing.

They're not as bad as they look. I have a pair. With socks on under the booties I can walk in them if I'm very careful, but it's awkward and a bit painful.

They're more of a constant reminder that one should be crawling, rather than some kind of torture.
