Sorry, I can see I've done this in completely the wrong order now. I posted first - my need for knowledge clearly spurred me into not reading everything I should have first.

Basically I'm here because my boyfriend's into this kind of thing and I need to know a bit more. I've gone into a bit more detail in my post in the 'teen' section of the forum.
