Hello. I’m not very good at this hole social thing. I have spent most of my life isolating myself, and straight up hiding. So, forgive me if I stumble around, and don’t answer quickly.

I’m coming out of a very dark place in my life, and I have been encouraged to seek out others that feel the same way that I do. First off I identify as an Adult Infantile Regressive (AIR). Otherwise known as an AB. AIR is just a more medical term that I use as I work with all the other things that really need to be addressed. As for the AB/DL stuff I have started to accept that it is just who I am. Even just doing this has been stressful is so many ways.

I’m not really sure what to say here. It’s taken days just to post this. I just end up crying to much.

Welcome, @Howler. I see you’re a fellow Washingtonian also. (I’m in the islands.) As somebody who spent his childhood (pre-internet) hiding this stuff from absolutely everybody, I can appreciate the challenge of opening up about it. It took me a long time. I’m sorry to hear about the dark place, as you put it. Hopefully we can be worthy supporters and make his particular facet of your life a little brighter. I definitely didn’t appreciate the value of sharing it with others until I tried it. It helped me a lot.

After getting over the emotional effects of pressing the submit button. I have been easing back in.

I have found that I have been starting to enjoy reading from like minded people. I think I might just feel a bit more normal here. (wow, that sounded messy but it's the only way I can put it.)
