Hi everyone. This should have been my first post but I am still learning how to use online forums. I’m an aircraft mechanic in the US Army. I enjoy an oddly specific and ever-changing set of hobbies. It tends to center around living off grid, storing or preparing shelf stable food or camping/backpacking. It may sound like I’m a doomsday prepper when you hear that. I just know I have an interest in preservation. Whether it’s food or artifacts at a museum. I love the outdoors but rarely get the time to enjoy it. I like thinking up creative ways to solve problems. I have discovered what drives me to pursue my hobbies is that I find a problem to solve. So I often solve problems “in theory” or I hit a dead end. I sometimes abandon projects because I’ve determined that the problem is no longer relevant or the solution is unattainable.

I have always had a fascination with diapers since I got out of them at the age of 2. As with most people they pursued in secret for many years. It wasn’t until I moved out on my own in 2016-17 that I finally took the next step and really tried living out the ABDL lifestyle in public but still keeping it a secret. It was at that point that it began to evolve into more than just diapers. I started to take an interest in LittleSpace. Wearing kids clothes and stuff. I have come here often to read about the community but never was a member until now.

Welcome, @I12BLittle89! Glad you finally joined, and thank you for a nice intro. It seems like being in or otherwise involved with the armed services could make indulging these "little" interests...kinda tough! I'm glad you're managing it. It's certainly an interesting dual life that some of us lead, filling these very "adult" roles publicly while also nurturing our secret, soft interiors. I hope you find the site fun and supportive.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve considered wearing at work because the uniform is baggy. Not very revealing but the moment I bend over and my tucked shirt comes undone and that would be fun to deal with. I also considered what would happen if I had a workplace accident and was sent to a medical care facility and that sort of thing came out. I could be as careful as possible and accidents happen. Even though there’s a remote chance it might happen. I still don’t want to make an already stressful situation worse by being found out.

To add to that. My wife disapproves of this lifestyle. So I can’t even live it out freely at home.

Ha ha, yeah, I've heard similar concerns expressed by others here. I mostly keep my diapers at home, but have gone out diapered more often in the last few years. For me the biggest hazard is that I live in a tiny, gossipy community, and could easily become "that guy who wears diapers" if I'm not careful. "Do not want."

To add to that. My wife disapproves of this lifestyle. So I can’t even live it out freely at home.

When I experimented in public. I was in a new town that way bigger than where I lived before. Where I knew no one except the handful of people I knew at work. I trusted a pair of Tenas too much without thoroughly testing them. I went for a walk in the park across the street from my apartment and there were some Asian people walking laps speaking their native language. I kept hearing them talk to themselves which I just ignored. It didn’t both me much. What am I going to gain by trying to listen? I don’t understand it. But for some reason I could tell they were talking about me. The volume and tone didn’t seem to change but somehow it became obvious they were talking about me. I stopped at the restroom and noticed that my shorts were soaked. So yeah I’m super cautious when I’m out.
