Hi everyone. I'm new to the site, and honestly, new to talking about my DL side in general. I'm learning to be more okay with myself, one day at a time. I'm blogging about my journey, too, so that's good I guess. I'm hoping that by finding a support community (woo!) I'll come to understand myself a bit better and learn to be okay with this side of my personality. Anyway. Existential Crisis info aside, here's my intro:
I'm 28, female, LDS. I'm a writer and an aspiring book editor. Recently decided to apply for another Master's degree program in Library Sciences. Cause that job market is a lot more lucrative than the publishing industry. Both deal with books though, so I'm happy either way. Yes, I'm a book nerd. A nerd in general, really. Nice to meet you. ;)

Greetings, Reluctant, and welcome! Always glad to have another writer/literary type here. Though it's been a couple years since have written anything for publication, I still consider myself a writer at heart (well, my degree's in Lit, but you know...). You'll find all kinds of support and information here.

Hi There. i noticed you listed yourself as LDS, I'm an excommincated LDS, was a high priest until I came out as Bi to my Bishop, so a word of warning don't tell a church member, they will want you in therapy.

Hey my wife starts her master in lib science and university of texas this winter, good luck, you can do eet.

Whilst no longer a member of the LDS because of their stance on LGBTQ matters I'm still a Christian. At the end of the day the bishop had to refer the matter to the Stake Bishop and there wasn't much he could do given the churches permission, So; I've forgiven them but at least I was honest with them although it took a lot of prayer before I finally decided to do it. The other thing was I had seen a documentary on the LDS and a 12 year old girl rose to give her testimony, She started out fairly normally but then started talking about how HF made us all and that she wanted to be with a girl not a......... at that point they cut her mike and escorted her out of the room along with her parents. Poor girl, if she wasn't conflicted before she will be now.

Do a lot of your conflicted thoughts over wearing diapers boil down to 'guilt' ?

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
To answer questions from most recent to least:
@Andrewgdfw Yeah, I think a lot of my internal conflict comes from guilt and shame. It's a hard thing to reconcile.
@PCBaby , I'm sorry for the way you've been treated in the past. That's certainly not what I personally believe should happen in this situation. I know plenty of LDS members that have come out, and they're still a part of the church. There's actually a bit of a community within the church now, helping to support those members and educate others on how to treat them.
@StrangelyShapedTree , I'm not sure I've always been DL. It kind of started out as a wetting thing. I'm sorry that your ex wasn't understanding about the whole thing. I'm terrified of telling anyone irl right now, let alone a future spouse. I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, hopefully with help from my new community of friends. :)
@armydipr , thanks for the good vibes!
@RedStripeLvr , I really do hope to find a good support system here. Thanks for being the first to welcome me!

Hello. I'm Lorelei, 37, female, and in the UK.
I have visited this site as a guest, and it seems nice and friendly, so I thought I'd register and introduce myself.
Firstly, I'm NOT looking for any kind of relationship! I have recently split with my partner of 15 years, and I am quite happy being single again.
Why did I come here? I have been wearing tena pants for a number of years now - particularly at work, as I work in a small, very busy office, and often have to attend meetings with customers, take long phone calls, run all sorts of errands etc, and don't always have the chance to go to the loo when I need to - hence the occasional little accident! Outside work, I often wear a tena because I so hate using public toilets!
Okay, I'll be absolutely honest with you all - a lot of the time, I quite enjoy the feeling of being able to wet myself with nobody else knowing!
There, I've said it now!
I don't have a lot of female friends, and I tried this site to see of there are other people like me (of course there are!), and for a chance to chat with some of those people who feel the same way that I do.
As well as working full-time, I have to visit my disabled and elderly Mum most days, so my opportunities for logging in may be few and far between - so if anyone replies to my post, and I don't reply promptly, that's the reason. Time (or lack of it!)
I look forward to 'meeting' some of you here.Lorelei x

Well welcome. Ypurnin good company here.

I notice that the wetting part of this is very common, more so than diapers. But that is the vein of ABDL I also identify with. You may notice that although it's the same acronym, ABDL can have night and day differences inherent in itself, one side being adult babies and submission type stuff, and the other being diaper lovers and desperation/bathroom stuff in general.

But in any case, it's probably not necessarily to dive too much into the other kinks. They are kinks after all, right? It quickly corrodes the mind into a general obsession, I've noticed. I became Catholic just a year and a half ago but have been discovering the nuances of this kink for well over a decade, and I wish I could have kept it simple. It's enough to try and wrestle with this while upholding Catholic tenets, let alone to actively shun the strangely curious world of kink and fetishes.
We are quite the diverse bunch o nuts on this tree lol
