Hi,

After reading numerous posts on deeker I will admit that I use to read on there a lot because It was one of the first sites where I found diapers etc. What I did was read a lot of the stories and thats about it. What I didn't realize was what the site actually was which I thank you for opening my eyes. My question is since the site is I assume you all know would I get in trouble for reading the stories containing the bad stuff :\. I had no intention of committing something in any manner its just what I first learned. Would I get in trouble for reading AB/DL stories from that site that contain what I know now is bad?

Thank you for your time
sorry if I seem a little jumpy I'm just a worry wart :(

Well, that's up for a moderator to tell. But I think you're fine as long as you don't post anything there.

Do you mean in trouble legaly or on this site. I'm not so sure about legaly, but I'm pritty sure no ones going to do anything about you reading a story, But I know that no one really cares on this site... unless you try to turn this site into deeker's. Then people might speek up. Otherwise, your cool.

Oh, and welcome to this site. Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, some people just want deeker to be kept alone that are involved with this site. Not really get involved with it. It's questionable how many stories are accually factual. But if you don't get it tied up with this site. Your fine.

You can't get in trouble for reading something.

Talking about it, however, is another matter.

I would imagine that almost every ABDL has run into D--ker's website. I did years ago and quickly realized it was probably 99.44% Bullsh!t. After that, I discovered Foxtales, which fortunately is not run by a pedophile. I tend to like this site a lot better since the REP system keeps the conversations civil. Foxtales has some bullies that run amok and and generally ruin a lot of discussions.

First of all, welcome to ADISC Blade :). Feel free to stop by the Greetings and Introductions Forum to write a formal introductions. It just helps us to get to know you better.

Secondly, like everyone else is saying, don't worry about reading stuff on that horrible Dker site. When I first discovered the ABDL community a couple years ago, that was the first and only site I knew of, which is horrible, because it paints a terrible image of the community. I too wandered through the rat maze and looked at a few of their stories, even read a couple of their 'diaper sitings' (eee-gad, I wanted to report some of it to the police if I thought more than 5% of it were true).

The fact is, you went to a search engine looking for answers to private questions, and found whatever came up first, which just so happens to often be that page. Now you've done a little more searching, and you've found a better site (i.e. this one), so now you can just feel relieved to not have to return to that place ever again, lol.

No, I don't think it's a legal problem that you went there. The only way it could be is if you were actually suspected of committing acts of pedophilia. Just keep your life clean, and the cops won't bother ya. After all, there's no law against clicking around blindly on the internet.

Hope that helps, and again, welcome,

I ment legally and thanks for the fast replies you two

Hehe, you're welcome. Oh and welcome to ADISC, I don't really pay attention to the status thingy, but I saw you're a Newly Joined.

Well, I don't see why you'd be in risk with that, unless it has something to do with actual minors. But I assume not. However, I advise you to read ADISC's rules, because as far as I know, posting in dangerous sites is a reason to get banned.

As far as the stories are concerned on that site: I don't think it's technically illegal in any way, at least not by the reader. Besides it's html so there isn't much information being taken anyway, you aren't harming anyone by reading it, etc. You shouldn't be concerned about any legal trouble. Nobody's been able to shut him down after so many years already, he's the problem...not you.

I've downloaded every story on that site for one reason only! I am determined to go through every story and hand pick the ones out that are actually of good quality. Surprisingly, i've found some very heart moving stories in there. I know for a fact that a certain person on this sight has a couple of his stories in there and i was very surprised when i came across them. But, i also know he posted them there before he found ADISC.

While i agree with the majority of people that say that D***er is a horrid sight. There are stories of true quality in there. If you want to read some of the ones i've managed to pick out just give me a ring (this applies to anyone) I'd also like to add that every time i come across one of "those" kinds of stories, they are immediately erased from my computer.

Though....don't go posting D***er this and D***er that....

Also, welcome to the sight ^^

Where child pornography is concerned, the written word is not illegal, nor are illustrations. Not only can you read anything pornographic, but you can view drawings of children having sex with children or adults, and legally, as I understand it, is not against the law.

What has happened, however, is that by using computer graphic software, some very life-like child pornographic pictures have been generated that look like real people, in this case children. There have been legislatures that have tried to pass legislation which would make these graphic images illegal. They have not been successful because no one can define where the line is between almost life-like and life-like.

So just reading stories on Deeker is small potatoes compared to many worse things out there in cyberland. Understand I am not supporting pedophilic stories or graphic images. I'm just relating what I understand the law says about such things. It all comes under the 1st amendment of the constitution, murky waters to be sure.

yeah dogboy that's a fair explanation. The road it could generally go down is transmitting pornographic materials to minors which of course is a no-no. Point is you aren't harming children by reading it. It's murky but as far as this goes it's pretty clear.

When I first began wondering whether I was the only one in the world who felt happier wearing a nappy sometimes, I googled some key words, like we all do, and I came across D--ker. It freaked me out a little, but curiousity prevailed and I flicked through some of the pages before getting a terrible fear that I was somehow related to that. What a relief when I later discovered what I thought I knew...I am nothing to do with that stuff. Sounds like you're in a similar position.

One thing I did was delete the browsing history on my computer, out of paranoia as much as anything, and also because I wanted nothing to do with it. It was like going to wash my hands after accidently picking up something grubby.

But, yeah, as dogbody and others have explained, I imagine you're alright. And congrats on finding this site and never having to go back to that one.

Not to belabor a point, but I would encourage you to read the rules and read stickies in the a introduction/greetings thread. I welcome you to ADISC, but would like to know more about you before I read more threads/posts from you. Also I would be concerned if you and others newbies are not forth coming about stating your age in your user profile. Because we are comprised of both minors (13 to 17 year olds) and adults (non-minors), I feel it is imperative that were are truthful and upfront about our age on ADISC.

Everyone gets to be as forthcoming as they like on the subject of age. All that ADISC requires is that members not lie about it. Not stating it is not lying about it. If you think that's not good enough, see if you can get the powers that be to change it, but I don't think it's fair to make it sound as though someone new is doing wrong because they're not advertising it in their profile. I'm certainly not advertising mine.

To BladeDL: welcome to the site. Hope the association will be beneficial for you and us :)

To ease your thoughts on this matter, I'm just going to point out that I'm confident a large portion of the user-base here was previously involved in a "bad" *BDL website at some point to a certain degree, Deeker included.
