Gloves and apron during caregiving

Do you get your diaper changed with gloves and apron or get a bath by your carer with gloves and apron

I am incontiment and I get changed with gloves and apron by my mother also she wears the gloves and apron during bathing me or assisting with toothbrushing, clothing.

Like she wears the apron and gloves every time she is helping me at butt wiping only gloves But rest also an apron

And how you get changed laying down on bed or on a special changing table/shower trolley
I get changed on a shower trolley cause she directly baths me after putting off the diaper then I get a new diaper on the clothing table and then she puts on my clothes.

My mom and other caregivers, use gloves and plastic aprons. anytime they change my diaper. Also when helping me with showers etc. I have an extra bed with a mattress protector for my changes and use a shower chair for showers. Love to here more of your experience

You live in a care setting or at home?

I do get changed etc also with apron cause after showering she only puts on new gloves on to brush my teeth and then I get on my clothes and a new diaper then she puts of the apron and gloves and I will sit down or go to school

When she does decides to change me she goes wash her hands with soap and warm water .
Same with me when I change out my diapers.
No gloves or aprons .

My caregivers do use gloves for my changes. On occasion they will use isolation gowns/aprons depending on the person and if I'm heavily soiled or not.
