From vendor"pull-up, incontinence, paper product shortage" reduced selections, higher prices

A girl at one of our retailer's saw me taking a picture of the baby section and said." Do you know when we are getting more I have been getting calls from people wanting to know why the stores are running out of pullups, ".. as a vendor this is what we are being told... Paper products are in high demand at the moment. Company's are spending more time making paper products and less time on things like training pants. Some stores get them but in limited quantities. We have been pulling products left and right off the shelves. Some times 40 or more a day, and reducing our primary offerings to just a fue products.
Ie. soaps, diapers, toilet paper... people will just have to make due,.. soon we will be doing the same to the incontinence section we will be loosing many lower sales products, and spreading out what is left to fit shelf space....

Recently, all self serve coffee, is being removed... Coffee, breakfast, snack sections will be smaller cut-ins. Kids, lunchbox snacks many are also being cut
Also, there is an aluminum shortage for soft drinks... We are reducing 2liter drink prices to help get rid of extra surpluses that would be going to canned drinks.
