first aid station disney

Well I've had to get bandaids and steri-strips due to a pretty severe cut but never heard of that one...no offense but sounds a little out there. Granted sometimes the hard stuff to believe is often true lol

Disney is crazy prepared for all sorts of contingencies. I’d be more surprised if they didn’t.

Now, I mostly wonder what quality of diapers they have.

. -edit I actually called a friend of mine she is a RN working on her doctorate and she worked as a RN at Disney for a short time she said yes they actually do have them they commonly have product from Hartman some plastic backed and some cloth backed and pull ons they have them as a courtesy for disabled care. She said they were better than anything she has seen used in hospitals by a fair margin....who freaking knew ???? That's crazy 😧

If you’re an ABDL or DL, please for the love of God, don’t abuse the first aid center. I’d hate for that to discontinue if there are too many people coming in for free diapers.

Omg can you imagine. 🤣 I'm IC and not into that .....but that's a hell of a funny image ....some ic person who didn't pack enough..ends up seeing that ...what could you say other than Well that figures! I really wish I would've known...been IC with mobility issues for a while and actually had to leave one day instead of going to the Epcott center because I didn't pack enough supply's and something we ate didn't agree with me in a big way ....it was our last day there and I was kinda crushed that it was my fault we were leaving early. I'd have happily endured the embarrassment of asking for some of I had known. Really miss being in better condition and being able to go do things....with being financially wrecked and not well it's been a long time since I have done anything fun at all ....hell even a movie or anything...it gets to a person...

One time I went into First Aid to change my diaper. They led me to a private room with a bed and asked if I needed any assistance. I said no thanks I’m fine but it made me wonder what exactly they would help with.

That, and also, leave them for people who need them. We should leave them for ICs. Fun does not outweigh people's dignity.

Being paralyzed and or disabled (and it wasn't easy to ask) I will say I have used first aid at every park and other places because they don't have adult sized changing tables in the parks ( though Orlando Airport has them) so it's the cleanest but not always convenient place to change and even though most times they put a chux down, spare trash bag and occasionally left wipes, not a single time was I offer a diaper nor help(which I wasn't expecting) and everytime except once I was alone, even the first day when I ran out of diapers (1st big trip and didn't pack correctly now I over pack also I didn't know they alcohol at Epcot) and asked if & where could buy diapers they said they only had & sold limited baby sized ones and directed me to the baby center I was able to get sz 6 that weren't cheap though bought me time(though another one might of had them, I have used them in all of the parks[many changes over 4yrs of going] and personally never seen them but I also didn't go snooping)

Besides when I ran out on the first day I don't think I ever actually mentioned the word diaper they usually knew why I was there and they were probably some of the best and most professional nurses also probably not person nor last in a wheelchair. But I even used first aid when I had some temperature regulation issues and a couple times to get out of my chair.

. But like someone else mentioned unless you have a physical need it shouldn't be used and even though I technically had a need I actually leaked the first day because I personally didn't want to go there because I didn't feel it was something I should bother them with even though I was told that was best place and they didn't mind which one of the nurses did make a comment to point of don't hesitate to come back if and when needed. Though I have use first aid in many places but if places they put changing tables in I would use them because even though I have a need it's kind of embarrassing though they are very professional but also though technically a urgent medical need it's not what first aid should be used for and many people & special needs families feel the same way or they really don't want to bother them and not really the place but until places put facilities in you don't have many options.
