Wore this out running errands and grocery shopping today. Got home and didn't change and stayed this way until bed because I was already feeling just little enough. 🥹

Shortalls or even just regular shorts would probably put it over the edge in public? From dime a dozen nerdy gamer retro Nintendo guy who doesn't give af to OK now that's starting to get creepy? What you think?

It depends, I mean it is hot where you live normally! I guess I can’t say because as someone who presents androgynously, I just tend to wear whatever.

But I think you should wear what makes you happy! I don’t think anyone is going to come up to you and say “bro what are you wearing?” Because if they do, then they are the creepy and rude ones!

I think even just regular shorts showing both the socks and man legs would take it into creepy since at that point it's obviously a grown man trying to dress like a primary school kid in futility. 😅

Maybe I could do it with some long over size below the knee skater style denim shorts.

Even though I accepted this part of myself a long time ago, I'm still not too thrilled with mirrors some times. 🤣🫣

If only we looked how we feel. 😭

I mean, the shorts may just give you the illusion of dad vibes? I know plenty of people who just wear shorts every day regardless of weather, but you know yourself and your area best. If it makes you nervous or uncomfortable, then you don’t have to do it! It’s to make you feel comfortable, as all clothing should.

That’s so awesome! Idk I like wearing my shorts and GIR jacket with an Eevee or MLP shirt, and people always comment on my Sonic tattoo being really cool. I either look like a hot topic reject or a child so I don’t mind either way! I’m excited for shortalls sometime soon, and wearing them in the warm weather.

God I'm such a Pokémon addict. It's like quintessential little kid for me. It came out just after my childhood so I always saw it as a little kid thing and never got into it. So now it's brand new to me with no nostalgia. Perfect for my little side to get excited about for the first time and be obsessed with and it's awesome. 🤣

I understand! I hate that for the larger someone is, the more liking small and cute things is frowned upon. Why do only small people get to look cute? It’s not fair to everyone else, and I think that’s mean even if I am small and spritely.

My friend is a larger person and cannot find clothes he likes in his size almost at all (he had to buy one of the bigger women’s Pokémon pjs bc they didn’t make men’s in his size) and it’s really sad.

Then again, finding sonic stuff made for adults is hard for me these days sometimes. I’m lucky enough to be small enough to fit into a very large child size at least! I hope soon they can make more stuff suited to you!

I managed to get these LEGO ones in my size then they were promptly discontinued before I thought to get a second standby pair. Got a few Vans Old Skool V somewhat round toe velcro shoes that are close. Really looking for that toddlerish little kid looking perfectly symmetrical round toe box + extra wide look to make my feet look properly short and stubby. 🤭

Really jealous of kids shoes with Pokémon and Paw Patrol with the light when you step soles, velcro, bright primary colors, and the big shiny plastic or lenticular character graphics. So not fair.

Have you thought of getting plain shoes and getting waterproof vinyl stickers to put on them? That may work out because you can remove them and stuff!
