Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I've been active. I've been working hard to keep afloat here in New York state. So, in order to help produce more revenue and possibly raise enough to buy a new drawing tablet, I've decided to whore myself out for money by opening a commissions web blog.

You can learn more about ordering a commission at Baby Elliot's Commissions

If you'd like to help me out, but can't spare any money, I'd love to have more people who could spread the word for me. Word of mouth, forum posts, anything will help. (In fact, if this could be mentioned as an announcement, that would just make my day!)

Thank you!

I hope this works out for you; I know how hard it can be not to have something you need for one of your hobbies/passions.

If you can actually draw (hard to tell from your deviant art) you would be better off doing more involved drawings for money. it will take you a lot of 5 dollar sketches to get that tablet, were as it could take you 2-3 real "fetish" drawings if you can seriously draw.

I'm not sure I understand. Has all my art up until now been fake, or nonexistent?

Also, I do my best work on the computer. No one's going to pay $100 for even my very best pencil work.

I appreciate your suggestion, but I don't think what you've laid out here would work for me.

I love your work so much, but sadly right now I'm out of internet cash (the only way to get some in Mexico is through a credit card, and for that I need to convince my parents). But I encourage everyone to buy a piece of his art, he is one of the best artists out there :)

Not really into the commission thing (or understand much at all about it), but I've gotta say, if this is representative of your work:

Color me VERY impressed. I only wish I had the skill to draw like that. Good luck dude.

Haha! I've wondered who the artist is for these works ^^!
It's some of my favourite, but it's been so horribly stolen and whored out over the internet I couldn't trace the artist to label the folder for my extensive art and porn collection. :p

Thanks for the support everyone, you're awesome.

And for those who can't afford a commission, but still want to help, feel free to spread the word out.

Oh damn it, I can't. Don't have a credit card, (or any money, for that matter). But if I did, I'd buy a commission in ten seconds. Besides, if I were to use my parents', I'd have to explain to them why I used it, and what it was for. Then, I'd explain what I bought. Oh well.

But, I can spread the word. You can count on that.

I'll happily buy a commission from you. :)

Shouldn't be that hard to get the money into a suitable form. :D

I made a lot of the furniture in my apartment. I have done some ok carpentry but it doesn't make me a carpenter, and it doesn't mean I can make much other than those book cases.

Most of your semi solid sketches on your deviant art is a single person in the same pose hands hidden. I could go down the list, but basically I have no idea if you can draw given those. I could get more specific but it isn't critique time.

In a similar vein the sketches don't tell me if you could do something bigger, hence my "if you can draw." Not to get all art school on anyone, but if you can't draw a large variety of stuff you cant really draw. I mentioned bigger stuff because Physical stuff with some serious time spent on it can pay off fast. The pay per hour is bad compared to a real job, but selling a dozen prints always feels good. My tablet was more or less bought selling crap I made for class one weekend.

Okay, was this really necessary? It's pointless, pompous, and pretty rude.

And dead wrong, theres not mostly one pose, and most of the pictures show hands.

Hmm, always loved your work and it's be great if I could get a commission. Maybe, perhaps in the near future sometime. :)

I tried to give some advice on how to make money a bit faster and easier selling work online. He replied with a "if I can't draw what have I been doing!" and I explained what I meant.

A lot of people try to make fast cash doing sketches because early on it seems like the easiest way to do it. I have met some great people who learned the hard was that low cost high volume doesn't work as well. What you tend to learn is if you can draw well and do something even a bit more complicated you can do way better working on something a bit larger and more complicated for drastically more money.

"If you can draw" isn't an affront. I know people who can sketch well, and who paint gorgeous, very skilled pieces. They can't Draw at all though. It is a completely different skill set that just has some shared principles.

Edit: you posted while I did. I won't comment anymore. I was just trying to help since underselling is something a lot of people do at first.

Thanks everyone, for your support!

I've got 3 commission requests already, so it looks like I might have a busy weekend ahead of me. ^__^

I'll be commissioning very soon bro. Depending on how my first piece turns out...You may have a permanent customer. I'm very well known for the art collection I have of my younger self.

Ah, but if I need bookcases I may well want to hire you out. Saw your later comment, so this horse has been beaten.

To the OP: I'm not a furry, etc. myself, but I'll pass along your name and let them decide.

Heh, just reinforced butt joints. I would like to do something nicer, but I lack the space/equipment to do it properly, and the shelves don't need to carry a heavy load so some minor reinforcement makes them 10x stronger than they need to be. I actually ended up making them because I just could not find tall, narrow bookshelves anywhere that were not just cheap laminate.

What I wanted was simple enough to be done with a minimum of tools(I got the major cuts done at the store actually), and they have held up for 4 moves so far.
