Is it just my imagination or does air fluffing a diaper in the dryer increase the capacity?

I can't imagine it can make that much of a difference, but maybe I'm wrong.

I’m picturing a house fire thinking about that…
Maybe safer if you have a front loader washing machine and put it on a gentle spin cycle?
Very curious now but curiosity killed the cat so I’m apprehensive…

no it will make it seem thicker but won't increase how much it holds. It actually can lower capacity as the fluff & absorbent material has moved around and you could have pockets with nothing and cause a leak
