Why is it so wrong for a man to wear a dress? I needed to go to the store today so I had to get out of my dress and put on pants and a shirt. It's not that I want to be a girl, I just love to wear ruffles and lace. At least I got to keep my tights and diaper on.

Yeah it is a pain hiding this side all the time. I can usually get away with my cute romper and diaper under my big boy clothes and that's about it lol

To be fair out of most of the things this community is about, the lack of freedom for men to like or enjoy things that are seen as girly or for women is the one thing I really feel should be 100% more okay/ respected by others outside of the community.

For me it is just a sense of self expression for people to be what they want to be, be it tom boyish, full women or girly girl.
(which I know could be said for everything about like this community or event most or any kinks but in this case you would not be forcing anything on anyone if you were smart about what you wear when)

If it would be fine for a women/ girls to go out as there do in the world it should be respected like wise for a men/ boys to do the same (and like wise for the other way) if it is there choice to do so. The main thing this should come down to is what is okay to wear outside and what is not, I would like to hope we all know what things are kind of pushing the line too much but what we wear should never be based off of traditional norms.

The stigma of boys/men wearing clothes that were originally meant for girls/women is one that has been going on for ages and is slowly getting better. The place to look is the younger generation--see how many boys are comfortable doing woman-less pageants, or wearing a skirt or dress to school as compared to decades ago. It is certainly a bit easier to be seen as a boy/man in such garb than it was many years ago. I know when I was a teenager I spent a lot of time dressing as a girl with my mom's help and encouragement, and one major thing I worked hard at was to make myself as feminine/girly as possible so nobody would think I was a boy dressing up. That was actually a time when it was much more dangerous to be found out than today.

Of course, the converse of this (girls/women wearing clothes that were originally meant for men) hasn't been an issue for a lot of years. I would like to think that those changes came first, and in the coming years the opposite will be seen as acceptable. A lot of it comes down to the perception of women's value compared to that of men. Unfortunately, some places around the world aren't going forward as much as backwards right now, but I have hope for the future with the next generation.

I feel there is something going on now, with the new generation. About 100 years after women started their revolt.
But for someone at my age, we won't be a part of it.
For some reason, the stigma of a man in woman's clothes, seems like the worst.
At least I feel it that way, but I do pick up what others are saying about the topic, both men and women,
and it is really frowned upon.

I have about zero interest in men's clothing, except for keeping warm in winter, but have always been engrossed by woman's wear.
My dream is to be able to wear this freely, without judgment and loosing family and job.

Hi everyone!, don't worry about it. After moving to my girlfriend's house, she took the decision that she's gonna wear men's clothing and I'll be wearing dresses and women's clothing.
Me and my girlfriend we're gonna wear dresses when attending wedding parties 😢.
(So don't worry, I don't have any other men's clothing anymore 🥺!).
