Does anybody know any more about this person or where they got this dress, it's gorgeous and I want one!
I'll guess it might be from "LEANNE" on eBay as she makes some beautiful ones, but I can't find this one.
I'm pretty sure I found the pic on Pinterest but it was just captured by that person from somewhere on the internet, so I have no further info.

Thank you!

I think you might have better luck just rearing your interest on a new dress. Go to ebay and search "lolita dresses" or go to Binkies n bows store name on ebay, you can also check out Mariposa Market on eBay. You already know about Leanne's i see, but its worth mentioning that leanne doesnt repeat dresses.

Sorry, I meant to reply to the individual replies themselves, but it put everything in a main reply, I was wondering how "willnotwill" knew where the picture came from.
It does looks German, Bavarian in fact, but the tartan should be Scottish?

The tartan on the dress is the "Black Stewart" - The Red Stewart is worn by Prince Charles !

Stewart Tartan Plaid

babylock1 wears kilts and skirts and kilted skirts - see LINK to SportKilt:

Sport Kilt - Modernized Kilts & Apparel for Men, Women & Children

Regarding the Tartan being Scottish - not necessarily so ! The Irish as well as the Brits wear kilts in various tartan plaids.
There are over 450 family/clan tartan plaids recognized by the Scottish Tartan Society.

Get that dress in that pattern you will have to get the diaper covers in the Union Jack pattern !
Oh la la - I see London I see France oh what have you under that tartan party skirt ?

I dare say an outstanding work of sewing - carry on ole chap !

I'm confused, what happened to "willnotwill"s reply?

babylock1: I know that tartan dress is there, that's where I got the pic, thank you though!

Dress was relisted for another 30 days of auction.
Went UNSOLD ($149.00 and $20.00 S&H).
Had 149 hits (visits) from folks like you and me (several times).
If I did not have 3 dresses already - would seriously be on it.
Only setback about this is the chest/bust size - I need a couple more inches otherwise I fear ripped seams and other problems - like how to zip into it when it is already at its limits !
And then true to my name would have to have a LOCKING collar or restricted waist that locks.
The sellers inventory starts at $139 w/ S&H $20 and at the top end over $200 - such pretty pretty stuff - no sissy running around the bush here - this is the whole enchilada - the Real thing !

I'm with you babylock1, the dimensions are a bit too small...'course, on the other hand, my dimensions are too big! :-(

I love your comments!

Hmm, OK, honestly didn't think of that. Duh. And I have had a dress custom made for me by an eBay seller before, I just assumed (and we know what that stands for) since it was China, they couldn't really make something special.
But I did send them a note suggesting they make them a bit bigger. Maybe they'll ask me what I want from that. Or I'll ask.
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll ask with sugar and spice and everything nice! No puppy dog tails for me.

Ah, they did get back to me and offer to customize one for me! Now where can I scrounge up $150.

Waiting with baited breath - did you decide on the (Black Stewart) Plaid dress ?
Really an eye catcher or did you settle on something else ?
Delighted to hear that they will do custom size work.
Did they hint that such custom work would be at an additional charge ?

I decided I need it :), but can't afford it right now. The indication I got was no extra charge. They told me to order it and put my measurements in the notes while ordering. So I would effectively just be paying the stated price. The listing does say "Costume made", which I think they mean custom, so unless it requires a bunch more material, I guess they make them to order anyhow.
BTW, you might want to consider some mouth rinse for your breath now. Or go fishing perhaps? :)
