I stumbled upon this the other day on a fandom website about a character from Harry Potter who wore diapers as a teenager. Does anyone know if this is accurate or not?0505BCB5-D6E3-47A2-8D91-13A80087C98C.jpeg

I was not aware of that sub-story!
The joy of reading a great author, is so often, they are running several stories just below the surface of the main storyline!

I definitely would have remembered that if it were in the book. But who knows, with all the [ stuff ] ~KitsuneFox J.K. Rowling says these days, maybe it’s canon now…

There's a bathing scene in the fourth book, and references to (avoiding) using a particular toilet in the second.
That's just off the top of my head...

Except strategically, when it mattered. Dumbledore told a story in Prisoner of Azkaban about urgently needing a toilet, which foreshadowed the Room of Requirement, which would be a major element starting in Order of the Phoenix.

Though bathrooms generally seem to be places for girls to use for crying, getting attacked by trolls, getting murdered by basilisks, throwing away diaries, and brewing potions in secret. And they're handy places to put secret doors to the lairs of ancient monsters. I'm surprised they even have toilets.

Wizard diapers have got to be a marvel of eldritch engineering. But the fact they aren’t used almost universally in the Wizarding World leads me think they might not exist. Why not wear underwear enchanted with “hammer space”.

I’m also thinking there’s a nice side story about the pure-blooded families who, in their absolute belief in their superiority over Muggles have not been toilet trained in their family for 500 years, preferring to use magical undergarments.

You can tell the pure-bloods because they fart so freely. That’s why they walk around with their noses up… so they don’t have to smell each other, but the house elves loathe them, not the least of which is because their noses are always at ass level.

Going back to the original question I consider myself a bit of a Harry Potter expert. I have read the books and listened to the audio books multiple times and I never read or heard of Colin Crevey wearing nappies (though that would make interesting fan fiction).

Ha ha, right! I hadn't read beyond the first post in this topic before I ran to Google and attempted to corroborate it, and at the same time I was saying to myself, "No way, would I have missed that in the book!"

He would probably be embarrassed about having owls fly in the great hall bringing him diapers from home

Or else wizard diapers are like portkeys for your pee/poop. Upon contact with the diaper, they're instantly transported to some faraway location. Honestly, wizard diapers seem like they'd be less fun than the muggle sort. :)
