Which doesn't make any sense. Diapered crotch shots ARE pg13. As in some content is inapropriate for children under 13. And, a diapered crotch shot is NOT rated r, as in contaning nudity or profane language.

So based on the rules, croth shots are appropriate as they are pg13. Yet based on the same rules, crotch shots are not allowed for some other unexplainable reason.

As a vague guide of conversational standards, keeping things mostly PG-13 is the way to go.

The site's moderators have final say over what constitutes a crotch shot, or what posts are acceptable.

I didn't say it was complicated, just doesn't make sense. I get that it's banned, but WHY are they banned? Don't get me wrong either, I have no intention of doing so.

It's just that someone giving the reasoning of "because I said so", is not a reason at all and should always be questioned for a lack of validity.

I think the main reason behind it is that crotch shots could quite easily be seen as "diaper porn". There are plenty of other sites to see crotch shots, and ADISC tries to distinguish itself from these sites by being a support site, rather than a place people come to get horny.

True, some people do actually see diaper crotch shots as a form of porn. Just as some people see pictures of feet as porn. Feet photos aren't explicitly considered porn now though, are they.

Though I do agree, if someone was looking for diaper porn I wouldn't want them coming here either. Giving this sort of reasoning would at least make tons more sense than "just because" too.

I think in this case it's not a matter of "porn" so much as it is "exhibitionism", and I think that's what they're trying to curb here. Pics that could easily be labeled "crotch shots" are usually allowed to slide if they're very clearly for educational or demonstrational purposes. It stays loosely defined in the rules though so when an exhibitionist tries to abuse it the mods can just simply drop the hammer on them because the rules are just vague enough to allow the mods to do their jobs without giving the offenders any "technicalities" to stand on.

(normally I'm a big opponent of "overly-broad laws", specifically in criminal law, but in this case I think it makes sense)
