I seem to have had a bit of a theme this year.
A multi function fruit and veg dicer with various graters, slicers, dicers, egg separator, and a rinsing basket. A nice set of knives with a stand, the shears holder even manages to fit my herb scissors at the same time.
A nice set of soft soft cutting boards (my mum keeps demanding I use the glass cutting board in picture and not the wooden one and I can't get her to understand that a glass or hard board is the fastest way to ruin a good knife edge when preparing food). A 20 jar rotating spice rack (nice jars too) now I just need more herbs and spices to fill them.
My serger/overlocker was my xmas present to myself using gift cards.

I also had some chocolates, socks, some specialty beers, a nice bottle of armagnac and my sisters last bottle of strawberry wine (at least her current last bottle).
Here was my best present. As she always does, my caregiver teased me mercilessly a couple of days before Christmas, and told me that I could feel my really special present before she wrapped it. There I sat, with the rectangular box in my hands, shaking it and hearing the distinctive rattle of Lego. And I couldn't see a thing - my caregiver has a really annoying habit of blindfolding me before she wraps my presents in front of me! Soon it was snatched from my hands, leaving me to hear it being wrapped, and to wish that I could see through the stupid blindfold. It was an eternity of two sleeps before I was able to unwrap it, and my caregiver made me leave it until last. But it was worth it! I'm going to build more of it today.
