I currently use bunnyhops, but to train myself to pee in bed I just wanted something maybe cheaper. Would Tena lady pants hold enough liquid just for training to pee laying down?

I wouldn't suggest pull-ups for wetting them laying down. I would probably suggest at minimum a Tena Slip Super (Tena Super in the US), or you could go for a BetterDry Day, a NorthShore Supreme, or one of the Abena Abri-Forms (it doesn't matter if it's a cloth backed or plastic backed, just get something Level 3 or higher).

All of these options are cheaper than using ABUs or other ABDL diapers for training bedwetting (they can get up to $5 a piece!)

I agree with @notpopstheworld — Pull-Ups are likely to leak in bed, and that’s likely to inhibit your ability to pee there! I will second the Tena Slips as being a more affordable, but still effective, option; what they lack for absorbency, they make up for in wicking (and the absorbency isn’t half bad either). One caveat: as an American, I find it’s absolutely worth getting the plastic-backed European edition, as the difference in quality is night and day, IMHO.

If price is an issue why not grab a bag of the Tranquility ATN? PE outer shell, 34 ounces absorbency (more than 3x better than ANY adult or kiddie pull up) plus the company will even send you free samples...just look up "Principle Business Enterprises". They make the BEST bang for $1.00 (less in bulk) you'll EVER find in the US adult diaper market

You need to find a diaper that is absorbent and fits the best to prevent leaks I find betterdry diapers work the best for me. Also make sure you have a few washable bed pads for leaks :)

when you find a diaper you can trust it helps eliminate the worry of leaking this can help speed up the subconscious acceptance of peeing while in bed.

Oh God no. Never trust a pull-up not to leak while wetting and laying.
Since your trying to train yourself to wet while laying then I'll assume there will be some resistance from your brain to bladder and not letting you release which in turn will be a full on flood when you are finally able to talk your brain into it.
I'd seriously stick with the BunnyHopps.
