I still watch CN all the time, but now days there seem to be less good cartoons on it and more real life shows. Anyone else feel that CN is not putting a effort to make new cartoon shows.

I think the only new cartoons coming out is that surfing show based off 16teen and some new episodes for some that are already showing.

I dont watch CN anymore, except for King of the Hill. I usually watch Boomerang since all my favorite cartoons are on there, you know like The Flinstones, Jetsons, Looney Toons, all the older ones which I alway loved. When I was in school, I would watch cartoons in the morning everyday and loved.

Sorry about my ramblings, but to get back on topic, When I watch CN its an actual cartoon, however I did noticed that there are more RL shows on that channel

I believe I made a post like this alittle while ago. I think Cartoon Network started to go down hill alittle bit in 2005 but I hung on and now I think it's crap; The only shows I watch are Johnny Test and Adult Swim.

I used to watch CN back when I was around 5-7 years old, when it was GOOD. Shows like Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo would be on.

In my opinion, CN sucks now. And you're right, there's too many reality shows on. The name of the channel doesn't apply to the shows they air now.

6teen or whatever came out a few years ago I think on some other network, I think nick. I assume it co-insides with All Grown Up.

But now the only good thing anymore is adult swim. Powerpuff girls is gone, foster's is gone, camp lazlo is gone.

Johnny Test is great! I think Chowder and Flapjack are awesome too, though. The whole 'CN Real' thing is silly though... I mean 'cartoon' is in the 'CN'... makes no sense. They need to just stick to making cartoons, and focus on making the same kind of quirky ones we mostly remember from years ago.

CN Real - Cartoon Network Reality? That makes no sense. The shows on CN Real seem more like Nickelodeon style shows. But then again they are alos rip-offs of other shows.

Survive This ~= Survivor
Brain Rush ~= Cash Cab on rollercoasters
The Othersiders ~= Ghost Hunters
Destroy Build Destroy ~= Junkyard Wars with sabotage

However, I do like that Andrew W.K. is the host of Destroy Build Destroy. And he seems to do a good job of it.

Fixed. :p

There's no money waiting for the kids, the show hasn't been that good but until I find something better in its time slot I'll keep watching it. If it was anything like survivor I think that Les Stroud wouldn't take part in it. Since he of all people knows it's not a game.

I only watch CN when King of the Hill is on and also Tom and Jerry. I wish my apartment complex would add Boomerang to our channel selection. I love watching the old Hanna Barbara and Loony Tunes cartoons.

I originally stopped watching cartoons (and kids tv channels in general) when Toonami stopped with cartoons. (Toonami used to be a CN channel on Sky that showed stuff like Teen Titans, and Megas XLR. I think they used the name for other things in the US. iirc Adult Swim was also it's own channel on Sky, and at night they just showed repeats on the main CN).

It'd be a horrible shame if that was just a tester for the main CN doing the same.

I remember back in the day that there were legit cartoons all the time... Now it it's all the same anime junk everywhere all the time... names I can't pronounce... storylines that make no sense... But hey, it's a business, and American Children eat it up :S... so who am I to say?

Nope. 6teen is 100% canadian.

It's kinda funny, when I was a kid I always wished we had the actual cartoon network and nickelodeon stations, as they used to produce such great cartoons. But man after having watching *cough* pirated *cough* signals, man do they suck now. I mean not just most of the shows themselves but the actual layout of how they schedule, and play episodes. Apparently they're airing 6teen in a random order according to wiki. That kinda screws continuity.

Survive This ~= Survivor
Survive This, also canadian. :p

Well lets face it most of Cartoon Networks good shows are pretty much gone already and pretty soon it too will become all reality just like Disney and nickelodeon. Its really sad believe it or not because all those cartoon channels are part of our childhood. I still remember when Disney's cartoon vibe completely died out, it was then that I had switched to Nickelodeon and that too went in the the same hell hole that Disney became. I had decided my only place for my cartoon fix was Cartoon Network, and sadly now thats going, pretty soon there will be no good cartoon channels left (except for Boomerang and Toon Disney) but I dont get them because I have basic cable. But the point is, how can Cartoon Network be Cartoon Network if it has shows that completely have nothing to do with cartoons.
