If you are wide at the hips with a stocky build, it might be a very tight fit and uncomfortable. I'm 112 pounds and can comfortably fit between the armrests/belt supports.

Not very wide at hips, I've sat in a large toddler car/booster seat in the past. It was a snug fit but relatively comfortable.

The harness in the seat would not fit with out adjusting it, which I didn't want to do as the car seat was used for a toddler.

I just had to sit in it a few hours while out running errands with a couple friends.

The only thing legal would be the ez-on Y86 harness. Or, you could try a racing seat and harness.
