I now have 30 packs of different branded nappies and I'm still looking to purchase more.

I think you might have ***JUST A FEW TOO MANY***..... why do you want that many packages of adult diapers on hand???

I’d stop for a few reasons:
1. Cost. People regularly lament the cost of adult diapers on here for good reason.
2. Use Ability. Now I don’t know if you’re AB or DL or ABDL or what exactly your thing is but after a few years diapers will no longer work as they should they have a shelf life like plastic explosive (after 2 years it won’t go boom)
3. Space. I don’t know how much storage space you have but diapers can take up quite a bit of space.

Huh, 30 packs ain't nothing. I have well over that, probably over a 100 and I just purchased 4 more packs from Rearz. And I'll purchase more if and when there is a sale. I'm currently waiting on Tykables to stock the new Unicorn in XL in early April and I'll buy 4 more packs of diapers. If ABU came out with a new diaper I'll purchase those too.
Currently 1 have 3 pallets in the garage with my overstock, 3 dresser drawers filled and a box of overflow bags in the spare bedroom.

I see it this way. If you can afford them and have room to store them then go ahead and buy them. If by chance financial circumstances change you'll be stocked up for those dry spells.

One can never have too many diapers.

Being medically dual incont I use to think almost this way, like if I have the money a d good deal now I rather grab them and for me there currently isn't an option, solution or not like I have a choice. Though I will say I do have a few months backups it's not like when I first got hurt at one point I had close to 2+ pallets. Well between being broken, getting older, my love of food and beer/alcohol I went from Med to Large (which I don't plan on going any higher I will starve and purge if I put on that much weight) and being disabled it was little bit of a challenge to get rid of them.

I do feel though I kind of broke even or close to what I paid and what I sold stuff for. I knew I wasn't getting back what I paid(which is a possibility). But I am/was fortunate some have higher resale values and honestly I don't know how many people think about that if they have the space. Like if I had the money I personally would of stocked up on various sizes of the Tena PE Slips because of the Rearz Corp discontinuing them and I have already seen stupid ebay prices(like $90/pk last I saw) . Though not something I thought about when I was originally buying them technically there are some diapers(in all sizes baby-adult) that will be discontinued and there will be people that want them for many reasons though don't know the abdl diaper market I would assume there are patterns or prints that are more desirable.

If you have space for them I say collect away but like any collection just make sure it's stored properly. Also this isn't directed at you or anyone personally but people collect weird crap all the times(some.are technically hoarders lol) not an expert but from what reselling I have done weird shit sells usually well.

I consider myself a collector and a wearer. Currently I would probably have to say I have 500 diapers. They're from all makes and manufacturers. I just ordered some from Great Britain from Dottie diaper. And next month I think I will order from little for big.

I know the feeling. I may have a few hundred on hand at any given moment, but anytime I see something I want that’s in stock in my size, I always feel like I have to scoop more up.

Same.
Despite I literally can't fit more where I pack the diapers, I check for new diapers everyday.

We have around 2200 diapers in our stock. We increased our storage capacity to around 2500. All to be packed in closets and shelves.
If you have space to store them, then store them.
Buying more and storing them is saving money in future.
Hoarding is when you start to purchase without control.

Maybe consider getting a diaper inventory app. I started using Crinkles on iOS lately and it helps me be more rational and see everything I have. It makes a fun game to track all my diaper wearing. I’m sitting at just north of 200 single diapers at the moment and it helps me not buy more than I need. Also useful for seeing what I have the most of.

Buying ABDL items is one of the needs I’ve identified, but it’s clear I can’t constantly buy things or I’d waste my money. I also can’t rationalize that I’ll use it all eventually because the storage would become not only a burden but a discovery liability, too.
