I ran this past Peachy in chat...what does everyone else think of this idea:

Someone (I would volunteer if no one else wants to) would check the birthday list daily and post a thread of greetings. I know I would feel more like a family if someone took the time to recognize me on my special day.

Just my two cents...

What does everyone else think?

That's what I've been doing for ages in people's profiles...I even have a group for it (in my signature)

Eek! Sorry Pojo...didn't know. I'm glad someone is doing it.

A thread for every birthday would just get to be a bit generic, then what about a thread for someone that doesn't get a fraction of the replies that another one gets?

Birthdays are also recognized in the newsletter, as long as they are not private.

Nah, it makes you feel a little special when someone makes a thread congratulating you.

As Abby said, this idea would just make them generic and mundane.
