Betterdry Vs Tena Ultima

I'm down to my last two Betterdrys so I'm considering whether I should buy another pack of these, as they do seem to be a good nappy. Or maybe I should go for a pack of Tena Ultima?

I've tried the Ultima in the fabric backed and ordered a size to small. I'd obviously order a size bigger this time and go for the plastic backed instead.

Something I do love adout the Betterdry is the high waistband. Any thoughts or advice which I should go for?

It's a tough call. I think of the two, personally I'd go for the betterdry.
Out of the tena Ultima, I prefer the cloth backed over the plastic for some reason. I find them more absorbent and slightly thicker.

If I had to decide between betterdry and tena Ultima cloth I think it would depend on how I was feeling on the day so my opinion would be buy one of each.

The Tena (european version) brand seems to be created for my body. It's like a glove. The fit is absolutely perfect for me and I can sometimes forget that I'm wearing one.

I prefer the cloth back version (Proskin) and had no issue with it.

The Betterdry is a good one also, it's a bit bigger for the same size (M for me). The cut is not as good as Tena for me.

Pricewise, I can find the same price but more inside the pack of Tena... (under 1 euro each for Tena)...

Betterdry!, I depend on this brand of diaper 24/7.
You can count on them to help get you through day and night of daily use.
I wear them to work daily and at home.
They are very absorbent and won't let you down.🙂. ( I've been wearing them for 5 years now, before I was wearing the Abena X pluses)

That’s exactly it. Tena slip (Maxi/Ultima) literally fit me like a glove. I love the plastic backed version, the plastic is so silky.

Now, I haven’t tried the cloth versions but I typically find that cloth back diapers sweat and smell like pee. Plastic Tenas don’t do that and have excellent odor control if you do the bottom tapes up well to form a good leg cuff to seal it from getting air in there.

I'm interested in both of these Diapers.

I LOVE BetterDry for wearing to Bed, they're so comfortable and THIRSTY.

I'm interested in trying the Tena Ultima, but never quite pulled the trigger yet,

because they seem expensive, however I've enjoyed other Tena products before...

I'm really impressed with the tena proskin slip ultima, so the cloth backed ones, I got mine yesterday.
Today I made myself a pot of coffee earlier and feel like I've been wetting non stop for 4 hours, I weighed my nappy there out of curiosity, it had absorbed 1800ml with no leaks, sweating or discomfort.
I like plastic backing but for an everyday 24/7 nappy it's nice not having to worry about the constant noise, pinhole leaks or unreliable and inflexible tapes.

Did it stink of coffee pee and sweet through the cloth?

Sounds like a good quality nappy.
I am going to try a sample, your experience using them has convinced me to try them out.🙂

There odour control is certainly far better than the dailee care maxi slips I have been using for the last year, those things stink after about 3 hours regardless of how well hydrated you are.
I could smell my pee while I was changing which probably means I couldn't smell it when the nappy was on.
Im wearing mid grey pyjama pants over them so any leakage or sweating should be easily detected.
They are fairly bulky for a medical nappy but not quite as much as better dry/crinklz.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think I'll stick with the Betterdrys for now then, they're definitely nice and thirsty. Once funds are a little better I'll definitely be delving into some nice abdl dips!! 😍😍

I would stick with the better dry unless you’re on a budget. I normally use tena slips in the day and better dry for nighttime
