Bambino WARNING!

As a DL (for atleast 24 years), I feel compelled to share my latest experience with the company, Bambino diapers.

There are rumors on the net that they are shutting down, but not really here to discuss that in particular.

I am here however to warn other ABDL's that there customer service is basically NON EXISTENT, and that your orders may not actually ship.

I placed an order on 2/4/22.

I never received a order confirmation. I e-mailed them on 2/6, 2/7, & 2/8. The email sent on 2/8 was from a previous e-mail address that I used for order questions, and that email was sent back undeliverable.

I AM DONE with them. I've had problems in the past with them, but this time is the icing on the cake.

RED FLAGS people:

- they have no "direct" email address posted on their site (you can only use the message form on their site).
- they have no publicly listed address
- they have no phone # posted to reach out to them

1 week after I've placed the order, I've still had ZERO response from this company.

40% off diapers... you know what they say... "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't true."

Long story short, I've had to open a dispute with my credit card company. My credit card company is investigating it, and I'm sure I'll be taken good care of by them.

I hate to see other DL's out there go through the same thing. I'd rather share my poor experience, and help others avoid the same thing.

Folks... stick with the "good" companies out there that have physical addresses, real email addresses, phone #'s, etc.

If you do order from Bambinos... good luck! But never again for me.

Really sad to see this happening to such an important company in terms of the products they've brought to market over the years :(

Yea, one of the 1st abdl diaper companies out there, now gone. That really sux cause their diapers were cheap, and yet so effective. I'm gonna miss the Belissimo. That's one of my favorite diapers.

Is it possible their website was hacked? The resellers still have Bambino products so they must be still operating. I feel bad for you. I hate writing off money that you paid in good faith.

Good to know, I often only have a couple of companies I order online with here in Canada and they have both been amazing to deal with. Delayed shipping is annoying at the best of times but when their is 0 communication it is very troubling.
The one store I used to buy Bambino at doesn't barely have them anymore at all, they must be shutting down or going through new management. They had a really nice product so it's a mystery to me why they would suddenly be gone.

I don't think there's been any official confirmation they're shutting down or anything, just lots reporting that customer service levels have dropped so terribly.

Bambino has been very weird for a little while now. It’s like something big is happening internally or like the owner has a drug / alcohol problem.

I don’t like to speculate about that sort of thing, especially if it means thinking the worst of someone. It could be a variety of things. They might be victims of harassment or fraud. But does hurt to see this company on the decline. They’re important to the history of the ABDL community. I just hope that if they’re out there listening, they can reach out for help.

Its kinda documented elsewhere on this site that Bambino doesn't seem to reply to support requests - no one knows why - but they do read them and often take action. Someone actually reported getting a response and receipt from them after requesting it for HSA which is the only exception this pup knows of. Speculation that they don't have their software set up correctly to SEND replies, and possibly don't realize that no one is getting their replies... They're using Shopify for the website, and something else for the issue tracking - and probably too small to have any sort of IT department - probably just the second-cousins whiz-kid that ocasionally can be cajouled into fixing the blinking light on the VCR in exchange for a pizza...

Just received an order placed with them last week when 40% off - shipping was two days behind from their fastest, nothing really out of the ordinary and their website had the "Due to demand, orders may be delayed" banner which is now gone. Last year, had an large order not processed for a month until emailed them, no reply but order was shipped (finally) a day later.

Think you may have jumped the gun - if you have a FedEx account you may see the packages are on their way (that's usually how this pup finds out!) and *usually* (although not always) they update the order details with the shipping info / show as shipped.

50% off is the best deal when it's available and has worked just fine... They jacked up prices to have "sales" almost every week - not my preferred way of working with a company, but not an irrational marketing technique either - they just went all-in. It's SUPER annoying for this puppy, but some people need the extra "SALE!!!" to "feel" like they're saving $ and mash that order button. Unfortunately for those of us that use their product regularly, it reads "way-overpriced" and "wait for sale" instead of order now. Definitely curious if their overpriced product + sales has resulted in an overall increase in sales / profit - obviously things can / do backfire in marketing - but they're probably not going to share that data, LOL. The other drawback for them is the large increase in orders they need to process whenever 40% or 50% off happens instead of having a more level # of orders to process each week.

Never bought from them directly only off Ebay. Though I really never been to impressed with their diapers. They have cute designs but I feel Rearz and Abu are much thicker and absorbent.

Just an update to add… i did get my order. I had to cancel my dispute with the credit card company. But still… zero communications from the company. No order confirmation, no tracking, and no replies to my questions. I think they were the first company I purchased abdl products from back in the day. Sad to see service go down hill. But, I did get my order. So… they are open. Still in business.

That was my first ABDL diaper that I ever tried. I was thinking about trying their products again. When I got back into ABDL last year, I had so many more options to choose from that I overlooked trying Bambino again.

Yup the market has a good variety to choose from now days it would be easy to swoop over Bambino like that. I'm pretty sure the Belissimo was my 1st abdl diaper too. I used to order from XP medical religiously back around '13 as they were based out of Socal like I am, but they didn't have any printed diapers. That's when I found Bambino.

I’ve never had a problem with Bambino. And I’ve ordered 2 to 3 boxes every other month for 7+ years.

Never had to email or contact them. They usually email tracking numbers too. That’s weird you had that problem!

Love how affordable their diapers are tho!

I have never had a problem with Bambino to date. I have been ordering from Bambino for roughly 15 - 20 years now. Since COVID, it’s as if many companies or smaller enterprises have limited their customer services in one way or another. I have found that being patient, now more than ever, is what I need to do. I haven’t been burnt yet, I was just used to a faster paced world a few years ago. Glad to hear you got your items and Bambino is still out there.

Looks like they just restocked their supplies. A couple weeks ago they were all out of the ones I like. So good chance they're sticking around. I'm a fan of there diapers and when you buy in bulk I can often get 48 for under $100. Sometimes under $80

I regularly order from Bambino and have never had any issues. I received a case just a few weeks ago. Shipping has always been quick. Even ten days is not unreasonable nowadays. I just visited their site and the address is shown under the FAQs. Using an online request form is common practice. It looks like their old email address may now be obsolete and they are using that now. They do have some great deals on some quality diapers. I don't think they are going away, especially since they just sent me a survey last week asking my opinion on new designs that they are working on. I like their products and hope they stay in business for a long time.
