Anyone who don't wear that often?

I know its a common thing for people in this community to wear diapers almost every day, with some even doing it 24/7. But on the contrary, anyone here only wear diapers once in a while? And what are your reasons for only wearing sometimes?

Me, I only wear once a week on average during bedtime. 1st reason is because ABDL is more like a side hobby of mine than it is a lifestyle. But 2nd reason is because money is tight at the moment. Theres only so much I can spend toward my hobbies. This past month I was debating whether I should buy more cute diapers and littlespace clothing, or instead focus on my cycling hobby and buy a mountain bike. Dont mean to betray this community, but... I chose the mountain bike 🙃

Mountain bike was a good choice! I have a race bike as well as a mountain bike but haven't done much cycling lately as I am busy with DIY in the house. I do like wearing when I am busy though....

I only wear diapers/nappies as and when I need them, most of the time I can get away with out being padded.

Although I prefer to be in them just in-case of any unexpected embarrassing accidents, however as I am getting older and my body is reverting back to where it was when I was a infant/ child,

I can see myself wearing diapers more often and even at some point returning to being in them 24/7.

This is why I am researching and even experimenting with finding out what diapers are best for me in the future, so far an leaning towards and have tried some more absorbant and comfier ones like I wore in my childhood years.

Cycling is the coolest hobby! It is so cool, and it's my favorite thing to do. Some people cannot even balance a bike, man. The bike comes first. Like, if I had to choose bike stuff or a diaper I would always err towards bike stuff. It is a mode of transportation where I live and also gets you in shape!

I mean, every morning and evening I see the same guys cycling to and from work (I used to be one of them) and I pass them properly while driving. There is a law here where you at least need to pass with three feet between you and the cyclist you overtake. I give the whole lane usually because I hate when people pass closely and kick up the dust from the lane markers. 😄🙄😅

Haha dont think this counts a betraying the community, everyone is different and I think there just tends to be more people that enjoy the full ABDL life that voice there own enjoyment of it than people that just like it/ enjoying it voicing there own feeling of it.

Now this is pretty much me all over (well not all over I have only been wearing once a week because I wanted too get used to sleeping like that), but more like the hobby part. I thick my enjoy/ my like to it is linked to my own past but I dont do any of it out of stress or a need to get away from life I dont enjoy, for me being a DL or little is just super fun much like many of my other hobby's in life.

So yeah that would be me, well if I lived alone I would most likely enjoy this more but I know and understand that I cant give all my time to this side of me since I have over enjoyments in life.

mainly that I have other enjoyments and as I say for now the fact I live at home, even then though I would only try to enjoy this when the time is right and I really want to hehe.

money is a thing but to fair and I dont want to come off like im bragging but I could 100% live the 24/7 diaper life if I wanted too (maybe even pay for my lover to do the same if they wanted too lol).
I can understand the worry since its hard to make sure you dont waste money on stuff you might not need as much as other stuff (even if it does not seem like a waste), even more so when you have other things you enjoy in life. So yeah by all means get that bike and have fun with the other parts of your life that make you happy, I find the more you have to enjoy the more everything stays fun and does not get boring with over use!

I only Wear maybe once a week, on average, I would like to wear a bit more often, but I think I would get found out at work, not that I’m too bothered, I like it the way it is for me, just love wearing a nappy

I usually only wear once or twice a week to save it as a treat for myself. If I wore a nappy every day I'd be worried it would lose its magic.

Right now I'm on a binge. Due to lack of work I've diapered since Wednesday. I'm going thru 3 to 5 diapers a day. Once Monday rolls around I'm back to work and no diapers till the week end.
I'm currently in the off season from my job till around April then it's on to 70hr/6 day ball busting work schedule that'll go till late November to mid December. It's no diapers during that time because I just don't have time. I'll restock my stash during this time.

I average one per week. I work from home so I can wear whenever and I love fantasies of wearing 24/7 but I’ve never quite felt like actually going that far or wearing that much. I like keeping it to a point where it’s not having that big an impact on my life. It’s certainly not a financial issue either. I could def afford all the diapers I could possibly want.

I wear once a month, if that. But that is a conscious decision to reduce my addiction. It got out of hand many years ago, & I am also aware of the damage to the environment that Polyethylene causes. So for me, it is a win - win!

I could say I wear them 50% to 70% of the time. I live with my parents, I go to the gym sometimes and I have to go to work two days a week, so it isn't convenient for me to wear them always.

Besides, diapers also arouse me, so I leave them temporarily when I want to concentrate on any important task.

I also dispose of them when I want a bit more of air down there and I wear very few times during summer, only when I'm in my room with my air conditioner on.

I don't want to go 24/7. I enjoy the times I'm diapered, but I average only about 2x a week. I have been enjoying it more recently and thinking about going more often, but also believe strongly in balance and doing other things I enjoy too, and also incorporating a number of different dynamics with my husband, not just DL/CGL.

I cant wear too often in my current situation cause I still live with family, but I probably wouldn't go 24/7 even if I could. I'd still wear more often than I do now though.

I have to think this level of engagement is more common among our community than we at ADISC might expect, but that this is obfuscated here by selection bias. People who regularly post on a website devoted to AB/DL are probably more likely than other AB/DLs to use diapers at a high frequency and consider them a prominent part of their identity.

I wear what I consider to be pretty often: maybe an average of ~2 days a week around the clock. My wife will do so much less often: maybe once a week or two, she will very briefly wear and wet a pull-up, masturbate in it, and not engage with diapers at all for a while after that. She’s definitely still working through some issues about being a DL, so she is likely on the other extreme, but the point is that I think it’s far from a given that all or even most AB/DLs use diapers all the time.

It’s not that either one of these views is right or wrong; diapers, etc. can mean different things to different people. Fantastic post in general but great wording on this part in particular! I'm just parrot what you said instead of going too deeply trying to word it worse in my own words: some people have it as a lifestyle and some people just have it as a hobby or kink, and neither are wrong.

— I do think it's healthy to not over invest in some things! ABDL is, in fact, a very expensive hobby to maintain; even if you go all cotton and washable there's still a big financial leap for washing. But, I would encourage anyone not to make a particular hobby or identity their life, because life has so much to offer and I feel like the more you spread your interests the more walks of life you get to experience and, truly, the more levels of support to fall back upon that you have.

With that said, there's, again, literally nothing wrong with living it as a lifestyle and I don't mean to imply otherwise. I just think a lot lot lot of consideration should be given before it becomes a "primary identity" and no matter what it's healthy to maintain other interests in addition to it!

But when i do its 2or 3 times a night, and im hoping for 4 maybe 5 nights when i can use money for diapers again .

I'm surely an outlier in this community, but I rarely wear even as often as once a month, due to my personal living situation. Would love to wear much more often if I had a willing partner. And I always wear with plastic pants, that is kinda my jam..
