Hey so I’m looking for a way to stop chaffing as it’s driving me insane 😂 I’m thinking about body glide but I’m certainly open to suggestions.

I get chaffing on the inner thigh and near where the waistband is on my belly area.

A light layer of Sudocrem on your thighs and diaper area really helped me with this problem

It’s spelt chafing - it is when you are getting sore where something is rubbing against your skin

For the inner thigh I found that onsies work great as it's cloth against the skin and not plastic. The plastic in the diaper will eventually cause your skin to give off some moisture which then builds up resistance between the thighs and diaper and cause the chafing. If you don't have a onsie, tightly whities work too.
Waistline well I've never had an issue there but I'm sure powder would work fine.

Similar to @Nowididit I never get problems from the waist so not sure there other than make sure it is tight enough, but I found after focusing through the day on where things were rubbing and what on that it was the crotch seam on my trousers causing chafing on my inner thighs.

I now wear a pair of long boxer shorts over the nappy which covers that area if I'm going to be walking around a lot and have had no more troubles with it, other options include things like barrier creams and although it's not totally meant for it some baby powder on the area, powder won't last all that long though. it really depends on what is actually rubbing against the skin to cause it.

Don't forget to try changing how your taping the diaper - simply changing the angle, placement and tightness of the upper or lower tapes may relieve the pressure, often without affecting the absorbency. In some cases, a different diaper (that fits you differently) may be the best solution. Of course, powder and creams and what not may also work or be part of the solution.

Do try to fix it sooner than later, chafing can quickly turn into infection as the skins natural protection is being challenged.

I get this usually during warmer seasons. Whats helped me so far is baby powder and baby oil (keeps the skin from feeling dry and keeps the diaper from sticking to your skin. It the weather gets too hot, Ill usually just switch to cloth backed diapers.

I have used Sudocrem for many years now and find this works very well, never use this or any other petroleum based cream if you are a vinyl plastic pants wearer as it will harden the vinyl up which will destroy them as well as your skin.

I find baby oil works for me or if not barrier cream
