we had a good chuckle about that.

Hmm, seems legit considering the fact that the next lever pull could make you a millionaire. I can understand that ^^

I've heard about this before. Never seen it in an news story on the radio or TV. Always been something I'd read online. It makes sense to me. Just wasn't sure if people were actually doing it. I've heard similar stories about people that work jobs that don't allow breaks very often or truck drivers. Not sure if there's much truth to it, or if it's a "grab your attention with something odd / funny / weird. There could be a few actually doing it, & the media jumps on it & makes it into a story.

I remember before Walmart made some major reforms, the mainstream press interviewed a number of female cash register workers. They confessed that they were wearing diapers during the working day because Walmart wasn't giving them adequate bathroom breaks. Eventually the Federal Government passed what we called, "The Walmart Law". It affected me because at school, all of us who were paid by the hour now had to punch a time clock.

Walmart was caught locking illegal migrant workers in their stores at night and making them work extra hours without pay. This was aired in the news media and on 60 Minutes, CBS.

I guess people don't give themselves potty hours anymore. Just go and then gamble and then go again when you get the chance.

I don't know if its happening more or if we're just hearing more about it. But either way there's certainly a lot more "practical alternate use of adult diapers" in the news recently. Truck drivers (and other drivers, like cab and delivery like UPS) as well as to stadium games, casino slot machine squatters, etc.

Either or both could be explained by a reduction in the social stigma attached to adults wearing diapers. It's slowly becoming more "politically correct" to wear when practical rather than medically necessary.

They are great for things like flying too. I always wondered if other pilots wore them on long flights.

I read they do.

When I am doing a task I am dedicated to I almost never get the urge to go to the bathroom. When I am dedicated to a task I can stay for as long as I want and hold it a really long time without a lot of pressure building on my bladder.
Just recently I was on two band trips one was 8 hours and the other was 14 hours and not once did I have the urge to go to the bathroom when I was sitting on the bus and plus I don't go on the bus anyway. I always got the urge to go when we got off for breaks which was usually every 3-6 hours and I did have something to drink while I was on the bus. I find it weird how my bladder kind of shuts off whiled I'm traveling.

Maybe it's the fact that I'm anti-gambling and find the activity to be a dumb idea, but I just feel that if you are so glued to your slot machine that you can't even take the time to go to the bathroom and have to wear a diaper, then you probably have a gambling problem. Granted, I don't know any of the people who do this or how many people actually do this, but that's just my first impression on this.

It doesn't surprise me. There are a lot of people out there who study the machines and know which ones to pick. I can understand someone being so glued to the machine that they don't want to leave even for the bathroom. Usually, when you leave, there will be someone within a minute to take your seat. There are people that just walk around stalking machines and waiting for people to leave. It's crazy.

If I were running a casino, I'd offer free diapers to go with the free drinks while you're gambling.

On small airplanes there are no toilets. Pilots use what is call a human range extender nothing more than pitcher with an extension to go over the penis for the guys and for
the gals a funnel type device. The wearing of diapers would be very practical especially if the aircraft does not have a way to go on autopilot. No hands free distractions !
Even on short flights the call of nature can come calling after that one too many cups of java or juice etc.

When my wife worked at Foxwoods she would tell me about the people that would just go in their seats at the various gaming tables, though mostly it was in the poker rooms. About once a month she'd see a person (both men and women) with large wet spots on their pants come up to her window like that didn't even care. After hearing that, I learned to check the seats before I sit down to play.
