Hi everyone.

Just a quick question. Most of the abdl plastic nappies have pictures/designs on them. My question is, were there ever any actual plastic backed baby/toddler nappies with all over patterns on them, or is the all over design of nappies something that only came in when nappies were cloth backed? Thanks for your help. I have ocd so can't stop thinking/worrying about it!

I know pampers baby dry and cruisers today are still plastic backed. There is a cloth like film / transparent sheet that goes over the top of them and can easily / but carefully torn off.

I'm more wondering if all over designs were a thing in the 1990s-2000s

They weren't much of a thing as most diapers were single-coloured with a decorated landing strip. The only all-around designs I remember were United Colours of Benetton and Cabbage Patch Kids. Nowadays, diapers are the reverse where the designs are all-around and the landing strip is plain.
