Has anyone tried acupuncture for IC and if so what have been the results? My wife and I have been doing research and found mixed reviews whether or not it’s actually worked.

I have done a PT called "dry needling". It was very similar to acupuncture but I think they dealt more with the nerves in the area. I cant testify if the dry needling by itself did a lot but it with the physical therapy, I did see an improvement of being able to focus on the correct muscles of the pelvic floor and the ability to relax what I needed to in order to not have the retention issues I was having.

I think it would depend a lot on the cause if the IC. Acupuncture can do a lot, but its not a miracle cure-all. Its not going to repair a damaged brain, but in might be able to ease pressure on a pinched nerve or reduce inflammation in the bladder etc.
