Does anyone have any stories of real accidents they had at school that they would like to share. As I'm asking I'll write about one of mine.
I was about 8 or 9 and in year 4 of primary school. We had a really strict teacher who we were all scared of. We actually had what I thought was a reasonable policy for being able to use the toilet in class. We were all given 1 pass a day (if we needed to go in lesson time) but after we'd used it we weren't allowed to go again. On the day this happened I'd already used my pass earlier in the day to go for a poo,I hadn't done a wee all day and ended up wetting my pants.
It happened about half way through the afternoons lessons. It was a hot day and therefore I'd had quite a lot to drink, despite that I hadn't needed a wee. Anyway by about 2 in the afternoon I was desperate. I was too scared to ask to go to the toilet as I knew I'd be refused and probably shouted at.
We were doing a maths excersice from our textbooks and I was sat next to a boy that i didn't like very much. I was fidgeting around in my seat desperately trying to find a comfortable position.
"What's the matter" he said.
We weren't friends and I wasn't interested in talking to him so I just told him to leave me alone and tried to focus on my work. I couldn't hold on for much longer and when I felt that first surge of warmth in the front of my pants I knew the game was up. I desperately tried to stop but I couldn't and some had started to drip onto the floor.
The boy next to me had started laughing and the teacher came over
"What's the matter" She said
"He's wet his pants" He said, loud enough for the whole room to hear.
I was actually still wetting my pants at this point. I'd frozen in my seat, too scared to run, when I eventually stopped I was sat in a puddle and there was also a large puddle on the floor.
I started crying as most of the rest of the class laughed at me. There were other kids in the room who had accidents and I'd laughed at them so I couldn't really complain about this.
I was taken out of class to be changed, the teaching assistant escorted me to the disabled toilet, this had more space than the normal toilets and had a changing table. I was quivering, still crying my eyes out. I was asked to go inside and wait while she got me some spare clothes.
I sat on the changing table with my head in my hands. I knew I would be teased relentlessly as I had been when I had had accidents before. After what felt like ages she returned with some dry cloths and helped me clean up and get changed.
I didn't have to go back to class as the school had called my mum who came in to pick me up early.
