I was swimming at the public lake and...i started to feel like I was going. Just randomlly, didnt have a full bladder or anything. Now as a common curtesy, I immidietly got out of the lake and sat on a bench. I went on the bench, just a few feet away from my mother....i tried to hold it. Noone knows but i was so embarrassed. Now, I havent noticed i need to pee more often but what happened was a dribble . I didnt wet the bench that much but...i put a towel under me in the car...i also went there.

IDK if its related to this....but i still feek sickish...and the docs found nothing wrong so :dunno:

just a rant thread i suppose

You don't have any tingling or loss of vision do you? :p

But I am serious.

Incontinence is a symptom, not a condition.
And you say the doctor found no other causes? (infection, etc...?)

You should get some analysis done.
Are you taking meds? Maybe that's what is causing it...

and when i saw my doc last time my pee went to the lab, but my doctor hasnt called with any bad news so im assuming nothing is wrong...she blamed my chest pains on acid reflux. My heart beats fast when the pains come...its a stabbing. The pains wernt there when i saw my doc. There intermittent and everyday. This is week 2 of this

I am not familiar with that drug...

...but I would definitely investigate it further. Chest pains are one thing...but bladder problems on top of chest pains could be more serious.

Did you take anything else, such as aspirin?

Personally I think a lot of it is in your head and is associated with your eating disorder. You need to seek psychological help.

Hmmm...I didn't know about that.

I do happen to know that if you do not consume enough fat in your diet, you can have nervous system problems (the myelin sheath--the part of the cell which conducts impulses--is made of fats)...aside from a whole range of other deficiency-related diseases.

Do see a doctor about it, if you haven't already, so that you keep yourself nourished properly.

I often experience something very similar, when it happends I get a racing heat beat accompanied by stabbing pain. The pain comes intermitently and sometimes its when my heart is beating normal. My doc thought it was acid reflux too but the meds didn't do anything to help. Haven't had any accidents though.

If I were you I'd tell the doc to do an MRI or a cat scan of your chest just to be safe. Be assertive, if you are worried then tell the doc he needs to do something I made the mistake of waiting to go see a specialist because my GP had "faith in my good health".

First a generic disclaimer...
This is not intended nor recommended as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your own physician or other qualified health care professional regarding any medical questions or conditions.

Ok first off, eating better is important, and it is likely that a number of your symptoms are associated with your previous dietary problem, I am assuming you PCP would have ruled out any serious complications, and there is almost no chance that your chest pain is being caused by some unrelated condition.

Your urinary problems on the other hand do seem to be indicative of a UTI. I would check to confirm which laboratory studies your PCP performed on your urine sample, if a culture was not performed you will probably want to make sure that gets done as there is a large percentage of false-negatives on other testing for UTI. In addition if a culture was negative and symptoms do not improve it will be worth getting another culture as there are cases where the culture can provide false-negative, either if certain pathologies are present or if their were problems processing the sample.

If this isnt' a joke, go to the doctor immediatly. Often incon can be a sign of dieabetes if it happens suddenly.

I will say that this presentation doesn't really sound like diabetes, there are a combination of other symptoms with that which haven't been mentioned, and I am assuming the PCP checked a urine dipstick for certain substances which would be suggestive of diabetes. That said this could still be something serious and if the condition worsens or changes from your last physician visit it would be good to call the office to update him, and remember if it gets worse quickly you should go to the Emergency Department, for example, severe chest pain, Shortness of breath, loss of consciousness, loss of weight despite increased eating, drinking a lot more then normal, or anything else that makes you feel concerned enough that you think you should have it checked out now, always better to be safe.

Once again:

When I first read it, I thought it might be a UTI (urinary tract infection). But you said you got some tests done, and the doctor didn't report any problems. Like bdb2004 said, maybe you should ask for another test because mistakes do happen, and if you have a UTI, it can be quite damaging if left untreated. Anyway, you might also want to ask your doctor what the causes of the chest pain and slight urinary incontinence are. If they've both suddenly came about at around the same time, I think it's safe to assume that they're most likely related to one another.

Also, you might want to check out WebMD's wonderful symptom checker. Whenever I'm sick and I'm not sure what's wrong with me, I check it out before going to the doctor. You just kinda put in your gender and age, then select which symptoms you're experiencing, it might ask you a few questions about the symptoms, then it'll give you a list of conditions that are known to cause those symptoms.
